As much as possible or invisible if you want. I will try to meet with arriving guests and show them the area. Whenever guests need information or recommendations, I am always available via messaging or phone.
Once you arrive in Hong Kong, everything is quite simple and all starts with a call from the FREE phones at the airport located in the hall immediately after you pass through baggage customs. There is also a Visitors Center there if you would like to pick up some maps, local travel guides, etc. to read on your way to the apartment. If you need a local SIM card, there is a 7-11 in the middle section of the main arrival hall where they see all types of SIM cards, I usually prefer the PCCW brand as it is the larges local operator.

I've stayed in Brendan's properties in Hong Kong on numerous occasions and greatly enjoyed my stay, as always. Brendan does a great job of being responsive to any possible inquiry and the properties always match/meet my expectations.
If you are new to the areai, simply ask Brendan what requirements you have and he can give you an educated recommendation.
This particular property is located in an up and coming area of Hong Kong called Sai Ying Pun. It is extremely close to Central, but provides a more local feel. Central is about 20 minutes walk and ideal for a daily stroll. The location has access to public transit, and a cab to the center would cost maybe $4-5.
The area has a street of bars and restaurants called High Street that is also great and easy to access.
I will stay again!
A very nice apartment – cozy and clean. It's not big but the space is enough for two people. The location is also good – a bit away from metro (MTR): 10 minutes by foot, but it's not a difficult route. Also a tram stop is very close and any tram will get you to MTR or even to the centre of the island.
The hosts are really nice, provided us with all the info we asked for, including what to see, where to go and how to get around the city. We enjoyed staying at this apartment and will definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to go to Hong Kong.
This place was wonderful. It was perfect for our stay in Hong Kong. The Internet was fast and the place had everything we needed. Brendan's mom was very accommodating for our check in even though our flight arrived very late in the night. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Hong Kong. Safe. Convenient. Spacious with a view.
As always good condition to stay!
estacia perfect, everything was as Brendan had said. The ideal location and the apartment had everything needed for a pleasant stay.
Top Brendan and definitely recommend it for future visits.
I highly recommend Brendan and his place in Hong Kong. It was ideally situated in a great area, very easy to get around and had all amenities you could need within walking distance.
Brendan himself was very easy to deal with and more than accommodating.
If you're looking for a great location and a comfortable stay in Hong Kong, this is it. Highly recommend!
The apartment itself is very clean. Comfortable bed. A few kitchen items. Towels and basic shower stuff. Everything you need for a short stay.
The location for the price is excellent!!
But I want to mention as I know some people can have problems with walking longer distances - its actually a 10 min walk to Sheung Wan MTR station (not 5 minutes as stated in listing). And at least a 15 minute walk to SOHO (not 5 mins as stated in listing).
Dont let that put you off, if this is your price point, you should stay here. I WOULD RECO THIS FLAT.
Thank you Brendan and your team, we enjoyed your place.
Communication was quick and easy from the beginning, and Brendan's mom was the one who took care of us. Place was clean, bright and completely comfortable for two people. We got lost at the beginning as the taxi driver did not speak English and despite us showing the (website hidden) map location dropped us off a couple of blocks away. So here are the directions:
The place is just behind the corner of Best Western hotel, the hotel is located on 239 Queen Road West I suggest you get the cab there. Brandon's place just behind Best Western, on the street crossing Queen Road West on one end, and Des Voeux Rd. W. on the other. The place is across the laundry machines. I hope this helps!
It is a nice apartment and close to the ferry terminal and other places, although it is not hotel quality but everything is well.
Two things can be improved -- the air conditioner gets very noisy after a few minutes, it woke me up in the middle of the night several times. I tried to sleep without the AC, but if you open the window, mosquito would come in and bite you from the window, so DON'T open any windows!
The second thing is the position of the bed, it's facing the sun in the morning, the sunlight would wake you up like at 6AM, if you pull down the blinds it will also cover the AC and air flow. So you only get to choose one -- pull down the blinds with minimal air flow, or let the sun wake you up at 6AM each day (unless it's cloudy).
If you can fix these two problems this place would be awesome.
I was looking for a simple, convenient space on Hong Kong Island. And this was exactly what was needed. Easy access to the rest of the city, especially the galleries and restaurants of Hollywood Rd and Soho.
The spot is simple, but very convenient.
