The Space

I am renting out my home because I just recently married and moved to Geneva, Switzerland! As I'm a real estate broker based here, we are keeping our place in the city but renting it when not around!

The kitchen has stainless steel and granite and will be pre-stocked with juice and fruit.
There is a coffee maker and coffee.
Internet, tv, dvd, Netflix and Hulu.

We just recently renovated with a sectional pullout sofa from Pottery Barn that is very comfortable so you can easily fit 5 people in the apartment.

I am right on the water, so there are views of the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty. Great for watching the sunset!!! The area is a quiet haven from the busyness of Manhattan, but you are steps away from the Financial District and a quick walk into Tribeca, where there is a whole foods.

There are 24 hour doormen who will assist with anything you need and it's a very safe building!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I look forward to hosting you in our NYC home. :-)))

  • This was a wonderful place for us to stay! Sarah was an awesome host and was always pleasant and quick to return our emails and texts. The neighborhood was beautiful! The apartment was right on the water and it was fun to walk to shopping and restaurants. The apartment was away from the hustle and bustle of the city which was wonderful after a full day of sightseeing. The view of the Statue of Liberty from the bedroom and living room was spectacular. There were five of us for a girls weekend and the apartment had plenty of room for us. It was fun to be able to come home at night and relax. The apartment building was clean and had a doorman 24 hours a day which was nice for both security purposes and we asked for directions and recommendations. They were always helpful and polite. I would highly recommend this apartment! It was classy and clean and a perfect place to stay to enjoy a wonderful city! Thank you Sarah!!!

  • This was our first time using and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We loved Sarah's place, and loved the location even more! It was hard to believe we were still in New York City when we came home yet it was still close enough to easily get to anywhere we wanted to go. A short walk over the walk way to Rector Pl subway, you can walk to the 911 Memorial all catch a yellow cab - all very easy. The apartment itself was very modern and very comfortable. The kitchen was modern and functional, the bedroom was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was adequate - it was a great place to stay. We also love the fact there was a 24 hour supermarket around the corner, there was a bar and a pizza joint. We had everything we needed right at our doorstep. We were also amazed by the view. To wake up over the Hudson and to look out at the Statue of Liberty it was incredible. We can't wait to come back I highly recommend this place. Thanks Sarah!!

  • My family and I stayed in Sarah's apartment April 18th-24th. It was just what we looking for. It accommodated all five of us comfortably. A 5 minute walk to the subway, A couple of grocery stores, deli's and bars 5 minutes away + a Dunkin' Donuts. Wall Street, Freedom Tower, American Indian Museum, Jewish Museum and Statue of Liberty Ferry all within 10 minute walk. Right on the Hudson with a nice area to take a run, take the kids for a walk or stroll or just sit and watch the sunset right outside of the building. The doormen were very nice, etc., etc.,. I can't say enough about Sarah's place. It was great and Sarah was great. She contacted me before our arrival and before our departure.

  • Sarah's place was incredible. Her place was super clean and quiet. There were 5 of us, three adults and 2 kids. The space was small but we didn't spend too much time at the apartment and it turned out to be perfect. The doorman and conceirge were very pleasant. The views from the apartment are beautiful, we were able to take the subway easily and we felt safe roaming the neighborhood. She had extra towels, blankets, TP everything that we needed. Her appliances and dishes were new and just great. The only small disappointment for the kids was that there was no "real" TV meaning there is no cable service but she does have Netflix and DVD player. For the amount of time we spent at the house it worked out well but if you plan on spending alot of time inside or want to watch the news in the morning it's not going to happen. I highly recommend Sarah's place I can't say enough positiveness about her place to really convey how awesome it is. I will certainly book this again on my next trip.

I'm a clean, fun person who loves life! I rented my apartment on the UWS for over a year on here, and now i'm renting my place in Battery Park City as I have recently gotten married and my husband and I live mostly in Geneva Switzerland. My husband is French and works for UEFA in Nyon Switzerland. We love to travel and we love meeting new interesting people all over the world. As I am a real estate broker, we need a place for when I'm here working with clients. We have a wonderful dog, Bailey, so we love animals. I'm originally from Texas and I've also lived in Ohio, Virginia and Florida. I'm trying to master my French and Dragan speaks, I believe, 5 languages. B/c it's my job to know the ins and outs of this city, I am here to give you advice on where I love to eat and shop and enjoy this wonderful city! Here's to hoping you can enjoy our home here in the Big Apple when we cannot.
