Great experience! Very good place and location.... Better than our expectations. Next time in Miami I will definitely stay there again.
The hotel was great for the money! My three friends went to Miami for spring break and had a wonderful time. I didn't meet Tomas in person but he was nothing but helpful the entire time!
The listing description was exactly what we asked for and the kitchen had newly renovated marble countertops which were very attractive. The location was ideal for myself and three other friends, who wanted to experience Miami at an affordable rate while also gaining access to fun places in the area. The only drawback was that there was no fan in the bathroom making it very hot after a shower and the fridge handle was broken.
Tomas did a very good job at responding quickly and tuneful and was helpful when I had questions. Place is definitely older but you get what you pay for a bed, shower, and a decent room. It could use a good deep clean but it's kind of expected when you are staying in an older hotel. The area was really nice where we were. 7/11 across the street, a couple of restaurants down the road, and a couple of nice other hotels down the road. But would recommend Tomas. The pictures are as seen.
Tomas is a very nice guy, and a very responsive host, but unfortunately I cannot recommend his property. This place has privately owned rooms, but then the property management company seems to own some of the rooms and runs it similarly to a hotel. If you are through a private reservation like AirBnB, no one there will feel inclined to help with any issues you may have.
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM
-This property ONLY has valet parking. The attendants range from a lack of affect to slightly rude. Sometimes getting my car was a perfectly fine experience, other times it was unpleasant.
-Very long story short (because I only have 500 words), one night I returned to the property and they wouldn’t park my car. After sending me to a public lot that was already full, they refused to help me any further until I was crying and threatening to call the police (because it was almost 12am and I was alone traveling for work). Then they told me where a different public parking lot was. After the fact Tomas apologized on the phone and told me everything would be fine for the rest of the stay, but then emailed me the next day to say he could no longer guarantee me parking, as was included in the rental.
-Bed - it’s comfortable, but the pillows and cases are clearly old and worn, and I did find a small blood stain on the comforter.
-General cleanliness - the carpet is clean but ratty. Most everything else was clean, although the TV channel list and the “hotel” welcome book were both kind of gross to be touching. There were hairs on the floor in the bathroom.
-Bathroom utility - the water pressure is great. There is no fan/vent. The whole sink faucet unit moves, and the stopper got stuck in the down position the day I arrived, rendering the sink useless because the water wouldn’t drain.
-Noise - If you are a light sleeper do not stay here, or bring a white noise machine. The walls are very thin and the fridge has a very loud pulsing hum that goes on and off throughout the night.
-It’s VERY dated.
-Elevators - dirty-looking, old, and a bit scary. There are three elevators, one is broken, and on two out of the three days I was there only one was working. This makes for about a 5-10 minute trip to get upstairs/downstairs from the upper floors (I was on 7).
-Fitness Center – It’s horrible. It’s a large storage room where they put mostly broken equipment, at the end of a hall that smells of moldy paint.
-The pool is fine, nothing special. The beach area is nice, although you’ll notice that both hotels on either side of you have chairs for their guests. This property does not. You can get beach towels from the front desk. They - like the rest of the property - are old and worn.
Muy buen studio, todo algo antiguo pero funcionando a la perfección. Muy buen value for money
The hotel and room was dated, however very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette would benefit from its own set of towels. The towels that were available were for the shower (4 towels, 2 washcloths and 2 medium hand towels) and we were not able to obtain more. There were also minimal utensils and plates which was not a problem for 2 people however if 4 were staying in the room it would be hard to manage. The pool and beach access were great! The only thing that was disappointing was that on the listing a hot tub was listed, however one was not on the property and was disappointed in the "chilly" weather.

Hi! We are Argentinians, great friends who own and rent together our apartments. With our families we like to travel all around the world. We love to meet new people and get to know different and new cultures and share our experiences. We are very open minded, flexible and chilled-out when we are guests or when we are hosting. We make a strong point to respect others, their things, their time and their travels...
