40 lincoln road was great. Conveniently located in a pretty cool neighborhood with all the cafes, restaurants, shops and the train station right across the street. The building itself was older but inside was extremely clean and very spacious . I would recomend this spot to anyone.
Great communication and accommodations!!! We had to make some last minute changes to the itinerary and Lincoln was nothing but accommodating! Awesome spot, great location, very very pleased!
It been my second time staying at Lincoln's location. I was (email hidden)e location is very convenient, the place is spacious. It's definitely a good location if you coming in and out. If you expecting to relax or stay inside or even cook then this place is maybe not for you. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking to visit NY, the subway station is a cross the street and Lincoln have maps n a book about NY. I would def. stay there again.
Very Good place to visit NYC! Just front of the Prospect Park Subway Station. The apt was clean and well equiped when we arrived. We never saw Lincoln but to pick up the keys, we met Philip who was friendly and available.
Stayed for 5 nights. I met with Philip when I arrived and the whole process was very easy and he was very helpful. The apartment is actually rather large and in a great location right across from the street from the subway station. I Would not hesitate to recommend staying here if you want a place close to the city.
My wife and I stayed for one week. The apartment door is scary looking, with deep scars from being pried open. The apartment is very noisy, so we slept with earplugs. The bed is hard, the pillows are hard, and the fitted sheet kept coming off during the night. There is no comfortable furniture. We did not like how the apartment is obviously used as a storage unit, including an old eMac in the kitchen. There was no microwave and no cutting board. Other guests have complained about having no internet but soon after we arrived we sorted it out with Philip, and it worked the whole time. Yes, the location is very convenient, and the neighborhood is funky and cool.
We have gotten some overwhelmingly POSITIVE reviews since we started hosting with Airbnb (see below and earlier reviews) Nothing has changed, in fact we have become MORE attentive to our guest's needs. I have recognized that recently, OLDER guests, who are used to hotel living, are critical of our apartment and its charm. Our apartment is SAFE, CLEAN, AFFORDABLE, CONVENIENT and COMFORTABLE and ideal for guests who wants to explore NYC and come back to a great apartment in a great neighborhood in
NYC. No more, no less. That is what our success has been built on.
Lincoln and company accomodated my family so kindly for our stay in NYC.Thank you for suck good communication and hospitality! The clean and convenient apt fit our needs and my wife and 13 year old son felt perfectly safe in neighboorhood. B and Q train exactly across the street was nice.Phillip was available for anything we needed.Gonna recommend to our vast network of friends that travel yo NYC
The apartment is in a good location, the sub is across the street and there's taverns and a 24/7 shop next door. The hood looks pretty quite, we had no issues at all.
The apt is quite big, it is clean and has all the important things you could need such as airdresser, towels and so on. The bed is alright and, although there's some things stored in the bedroom as other users noticed, there's plenty of room and we could rest nicely.
The sub is a bit noisy but unless you have trouble sleeping it shouldn't be an issue, we couldn't be bothered.
The only small issue we had was the Internet, there were some issues with the provider and we couln't get online. Fortunately there are places with free wifi just across the street so we were fine.
Philip was nice and friendly, easy to get in touch with and helpful, I would recommend the place!
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We spent 1 week in this apartment with my wife.
We didn't have the chance to meet Lincoln but Philip was taking care of us by phone (we didn't see him too). He was very reactive and fast to answer our questions.
The apartment is located just in front of prospect park subway station and prospect park is just at the corner of the street.
The day we arrived, Internet worked for just 1 hour then stopped working and it took 2 days to get this fixed (Philip was traveling at this time so I was not responding to us regarding the issue for more than 1 day). When it was fixed, the speed of Internet was really slow for all the remaining days we stood in the apartment. So it was really hard to browse Internet.
One part of the bedroom is used as a storage for some stuff.
On another hand, the location of the apartment makes it easy to go downtown NYC, so we were usually out for most of the day.
There are many stores in the neighborhood to buy food and things to cook.
There are things to visit in Brooklyn, especially the Brooklyn museum which is free and has lot of animations every first saturday of the month, so do not just visit Manhattan.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
