Please respect our home and property as you would your home.
The neighborhood is very quiet. Coni was very welcoming to me and presented me with all the options her house offered. The room pleasantly smelled like Caramel.
My stay at Coni's place was very comfortable. I actually arrived at her place about two hours before I was due to arrive, but that was no problem at all. Coni was not home at that time, but she told me how I could get inside her home and to my room. The room was comfortable and clean. The patio was very lovely and relaxing to be in. After she got home, Coni treated me to a big glass of wine, which was a very nice touch. Thank you, Coni!
The neighbourhood is very quiet and clean and I felt safe there. It is close to coffee shops and a grocery store and some restaurants. It is also very close to the freeway that gets you into the Strip.
I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the Las Vegas area and would recommend this place to my freinds and family.
I had a marvelous time at Coni's. She is a hostess with the mostest. very welcoming, warm, friendly personality. Her house was nice, the patio area lovely. She had other guests while I was there,no problems. she was gracious enough to let my son,who drove out with me stay for a couple of nights, and also another guest of mine.I was invited to dinner. Went alot of places while I was out there,an excellent base for nature excursions. Fred and i went on a couple of road trips,Valley of Fire for one. I hopefully will be able to go back next year. I certainly plan on it.
Coni is the best host I have ever met. She is super cool and passionate with all of us. We had wonderful time with her.
Hope to see her next time.
Coni was extremely overbearing. She did not immediately accept our reservation, but instead sent us a message requesting more information about ourselves. I understand this as she is opening her home to us and needed to feel secure in doing so. I provided her with a thorough explanation of what it was that we intended to do (ie. install vehicle graphics on a mobile billboard truck, and that it would be myself and an employee of mine.) She accepted our reservation and opened her home to us. The room was very tiny and could barely hold the two of us. Additionally, she did not greet us in the same fashion as she advertises in her listing. She called and texted he numerous times throughout the day to check in or ask us to move our vehicle. She also asked us to watch her dog three days out of the six days that we stayed in her home. To put the icing on the cake, she attempted to force us into checking out one hour earlier then the normal check out time and tried to charge us $288 after we left for cleaning fees, giving gift cards to her neighbors, and $10/day for my employee staying there despite the fact that she never asked for additional monies for my guest prior to me checking out. She claimed that there were feces all over the bed room and bathroom. We are not animals! Perhaps this was caused by your dog that you asked us to watch?? Also, she stated that we were rude to her neighbors and that this was the reason she decided to give her neighbors each a gift card. We only spoke to her neighbors if they came onto her property to ask what we were doing to the mobile billboard. When we explained what we were doing, their response was consistently, "what a great idea!" or "Thats cool!." We never heard anything other than positive remarks from her neighbors. This entire experience took from my ability to get the work done that I was in Las Vegas for to begin with and I would highly recommend going elsewhere if staying in Las Vegas.
Andrew, you did not only NOT represent what you were going to do at my home you out and out lied. You did not tell me there were going to be 2 of you. Your reservation was for one!! I overlooked it when you arrived trying to be nice!! You never mentioned that you going to be driving large trucks or what you were going to be doing with them in my quiet cul de sac. You just said you were coming to wrap trucks. I thought you were planning on doing the work somewhere else. NEVER in a million years would I have thought you were going to be doing it in front of my home. I would have told you that was completely unacceptable and against Homeowners association rules. I WOULD NOT HAVE ACCEPTED YOUR RESERVATION!! My home is on a very quiet cul de sac where kids play in the street. In addition, you did not tell me you were going to be parking not just 1 truck but 2 trucks in front of my home.
WHAT was even worse is that your employee was rude and abrasive AND had gotten sick and left FECES all over the bathroom and bedroom upstairs! It was so bad I had to pay to have both rooms completely disinfected AND throw out linens. In addition, your employee was ordering pay per view movies and when you were asked to pay for them you said it would be taken care of. It never was! I NEVER asked you to watch my dog nor would I!
In all the years of offering Airbnb and having over 300 guests I have never had a bad situation like this. My housekeeper was afraid of your employee and trying to do the best she could to keep the house in order. I sent my daughter by to check on things and she called to tell me that this was a VERY BAD situation. The good news you were leaving the next morning!! Then you had the nerve to ask to stay one more day. The neighbors that called me were NOT HAPPY!! I am not sure who you talked to but I was getting totally different calls.
You and your employee treated my home like it was some flop house somewhere instead of someone's home. Not what Airbnb was all about!!
We felt welcome immediately! Coni said she wanted us to feel at home, and we did. She has a lovely, comfortable home that we enjoyed for four nights. As a hostess, she's helpful, fun, and interesting, plus she's an awesome cook! We're already planning on going back.
Coni is a very nice and kindly person. I booked the wrong date and there was no more rooms. Coni try to help me to check the available room with her friend. At CES show, room's source was so tightly and finally Coni share her Sofa to me.
Thanks for Coni's kindness! Thanks for Coni's delicious breakfast!

I am a professional consultant, author and coach with a real love of cooking, art, music and people. I recently released my new book "Crystalline Moments" on Jan 15, 2015! I am very excited about helping people find their opportunities in their own Crystalline Moments!!
In my professional career I have had the opportunity to do extensive travel and love meeting new people. My roommate Fred has been a family friend for 30+ years and also loves to cook and meet new people. We look forward to meeting you. When you stay with us our home is your home. One of our favorite meals is to prepare is breakfast so you are in for a real treat. I live by my life philosophy which is "have fun, give back make a little money" in that order.
We love things about Las Vegas that many people don't know about. For example, did you know there is great skiing less than an hour from the Strip. Also, there are beautiful canyons all around for great hiking or just sight seeing. We would love to show you some of these places if you want to see something other than the casinos. The famous Las Vegas Strip is world renown but now the downtown area has been turned into a destination place also with the Smith Center, the Mob Museum and many more attractions. The casinos have been renovated and offer some of the best restaurants in town. One of the most famous is Oscars named after our infamous Mayor Oscar Goodman. It is like walking back in time to the elegant 50's.
We love Las Vegas for its diversity and want to share it with our guests!
