I provide a stack of books and maps about San Francisco/Oakland and the surrounding area along with a Zagat Restaurant guide. I'm also happy to give specific recommendations for what to do and see and of course where to eat! There are several great gourmet grocery stores and coffee shops close by as well. Check the Guidebook here for recommendations in the neighborhood.
Guests will have access to the backyard. There is a table and 4 chairs back there.
There are two convenient bus lines. The #5 two blocks away and #31 a half a block away. Either to downtown or out to the ocean.
Other Things to Note
Parking-There is no parking space provided with this house. Street parking is available at night but the immediate block around the house is 2 hour parking from 8am - 6pm. There are streets a few blocks away that are not 2 hour if you need to leave your car. Usually spots can be found in the evening within a block away from the house. Read the street signs closely when parking. There is also street cleaning once a week and it changes from block to block. Tickets are $50-$60 for parking in 2 hour without a permit sticker or street cleaning days.
No parties please. Only pre-arranged guests allowed. No smoking. No pets. Please be respectful of my downstairs neighbor and keep the noise level to a minimum past 10pm. Please take off your shoes and try to walk softly. The hardwood floors are loud for my downstairs neighbor. Thanks!
Our experience here was great! Tobey did a great job communicating before our arrival to make sure we had all of the information we needed. Her house was beautiful and the pictures are an accurate description. The neighborhood was nice and safe. There was even street parking out front (only 2 hours until 6pm M-Sat) But we made it work. I highly recommend staying here.
Tobey's place was perfectly situated for an appointment at Mt Zion Medical Center. Her home was comfortable and stylish and Tobey was very helpful.
The host for this AirBnb was very accommodating and an excellent communicator. The apartment was perfect- including the delicious coffee that the host provided for us!
We stayed at Tobey's place over xmas/new years this year and very much appreciate her flexibility/generosity as we dealt with some unforeseen family events. She also responded very promptly to one issue and helped us fix it. Her place is welcoming and spacious, with a somewhat funky appeal, and our son enjoyed the tall ceiling bedroom. It is near many cool shops, restaurants, and is overall well-located.
Tobey its very kind and helpful. It was great to have her as a host.
The appartment is on great location close to park, trendy restaurants and cafés.
We had a great time at Tobey's charming apartment. The location is very convenient to public transportation and there are great options for restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We felt totally comfortable walking around at night and exploring this section of town. The beds are very comfortable and there is loads of space. We also really appreciated all the tips she gave us one where to go and explore as well as all the tour guide books that were available to us.
The place was great. Clean, spacious, nice decor and in a great clean peaceful location near Alamo Square and divisadero. Ate at Green chile kitchen at least once every day. Tobey was friendly and helpful to answer questions. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting SF!
