This is a truly fantastic home. The view, pool/hot tub and porch are stunning and left us all wanting to come back again. The interior is very nice, spacious and user friendly. I highly recommend renting the house and Laurie is a delightful host.
We had the most incredible long weekend at Laurie's home in Geyserville! There were eight people in our group - two couples, and four singles, and everyone slept comfortably and had plenty of space to relax.
The property is gorgeous, and if you can believe it, the pictures don't due it justice. From the gourmet kitchen, to the infinity pool and hot tub, to the deck overlooking wine country, to the warm and inviting social spaces -- we couldn't have asked for more.
The actual location was also fantastic. On our first day, we chartered a bus to take us around the region for a series of tastings. We visited Silver Oak, deLorimier, Trione Vineyards and Mercury, and then ended our day with the most delicious dinner at Diavola Pizzeria (a great recommendation from Laurie)! An unexpected bonus for this restaurant is they didn't charge us a corkage fee since we brought in wines from Mercury which is a local wine producer just next door! I don't know if they always do this, but it was much appreciated!
On Saturday, we visited more wineries, including Opus One and (website hidden) Vineyards. We also enjoyed a fun picnic at V. Sattui Winery. And then on Sunday, mother nature generously gave us a beautiful day, and we grilled out on the deck and enjoyed a few hours of downtime before heading back to San Francisco.
We could not have had a more perfect weekend, and are so thankful we had the good fortune of renting from Laurie. She was the perfect host. We were in constant contact as soon as I inquired about her property. Once our reservation was accepted, Laurie sent an incredibly comprehensive and helpful welcome letter that provided recommendations on what to do and where to go, as well as how to best enjoy her home.
We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and we can't wait to return! Thanks so much Laurie!
