The Space

Located on the great Niagara River which is at the mouth of Lake Ontario! By far one of the best locations in the country.

This room is downstairs and currently has one queen size bed. It accommodates two people, a cot may be added for a third. It has a full size living room and breakfast/bar area which has a coffee pot, (espresso and regular) tea kettle and microwave. There is a private bathroom as well. It is large than most apartments! Beautifully decorated, flat screen TV and total privacy! Parking is right out front. 20 minutes from the Majestic Falls but only a block away from Historical Youngstown Old Fort Niagara. Also, wine trail is within a couple miles and they are magnificent to visit. An adorable village with shops, restaurants, art gallery, grocery store, bank and post office! You will love your stay. Perfect spot for rest and relaxation yet moments away from activity.

There is a beautiful wrap around porch for your use which has a beautiful view of The Niagara river.

The neighborhood is quaint and charming. Home if Historical Fort Niagara and best fishing!

  • We just arrived back home yesterday from a week in the Niagra Falls area. We stayed at Margaret's "River View Villa at Lake Ontario the entire time. We have traveled extensively and used Airbnb and other on line web sights many times. My wife and I agreed that we never have enjoyed an experience like Margaret's wonderful home. Just this morning during tea my wife commented "Margaret was one of the remarkable women she's ever met"! The views from her deck are stunning and so peaceful as is her home.
We appreciated Margaret's advice on things to do in this area. Listen to her! Youngstown is only about 15 min from Niagra Falls and is charming and peaceful. Right down the street are interesting stores, coffee shop, Pub & restaurants right next to the lake. With all the beautiful parks, trails, the local vineyards both on Canadian and US side we easily could have stayed longer than a week. Thanks Margaret for making our getaway so special!

  • Our stay was peaceful, in the beautifully furnished lake house, a calm and serene balcony with a wonderful view of Lake Ontario and Canadian side. Within drive'able distance to all attractions.
Margaret was a wonderful host, very friendly.. not to forget the nice spinach pie she prepared for breakfast.
Would strongly recommend this place for a friend.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed at Margaret's house for a few days over the 4th of July week. She was such an excellent host! Margaret is very welcoming and helpful. Her house is absolutely gorgeous, and she keeps it very clean and tidy. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay. She cooked a delicious breakfast for us each morning, which was above and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed our breakfast on her back porch, which has an amazing view of the Niagara River! Her house is in walking distance to a some local restaurants and bars in a quaint little town near Niagara Falls.

She is a perfect hostess and we would recommend for anyone to stay with her!

  • Margaret was a gracious and attentive host. Not only that, but she had great recommendations many things to do in addition to visiting Niagara Falls (hint: Fort Niagara is a must-see!)
The house is absolutely GORGEOUS, with an incredible waterfront view! Breakfast overlooking the waterfront was fantastic. The house located in a quaint small town only about a 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls. Stay away from the tourist trap at the Falls and enjoy a world-class experience... We would definitely recommend it (and look forward to planning another trip so that we can go back!)

  • I spend Memorial day weekend at Margaret's amazing riverfront house. It was our first airbnb experience and we weren't sure what to expect. It was such a relief when we got there.

The place is exactly like its photographed, it was such a peaceful and quiet place with an amazing river view. The house is very clean, well-decorated with full of character. We had the full downstair suit with 2 rooms, me, my husband and a friend, we had full privacy.

Margaret is such a nice host, she was very welcoming and kind at every moment. She baked us goods for breakfast, recommended places to see around the neighborhood.

And by the way, it's such a beautiful town by the river with cute shops and restaurants. If you decide to visit the Niagara Falls and stay over night, do not stay in the city center, very crowded and not as pleasing visually.

I absolutely recommend Margaret's place to anyone who's looking to spend a peaceful weekend out of the city.

  • My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Margaret's
property. The view from her back patio is breathtaking and a perfect place
to sit and cuddle up under the stars and watch the night go by. Just down
the street from Margaret's house is a fantastic Bistro were you can get a
variety of gourmet dishes. And Margaret herself is a very welcoming host
and was able to tend to all of our needs. I definitely recommend this to
everyone else and I hopefully will be returning soon.

I have been in the hospitality business for 20 years and pride myself in making sure my guest feel at home. I am a proud mother if two beautiful children Raffaele and Maria. I am from Baltimore, MD of Italian heritage speaking Italian but not fluently. I love painting, sewing, cooking, garage sales. I can't live without my children, my first cup of coffee, home cooked meals, traveling to different locations here and abroad and remembering the best times of my life of which there are many. My motto is if you can't do it right, don't do it however, never make the mistake of not trying something new and if you fail just do it again! Live life to it's fullest because you only go through once.
