Jikke was awesome. Had great tips on restaurants and activities. Very patient when we were late arriving. The home is even nicer than the pictures suggest.
The house gave us a warm and comfortable feeling. It is located in a really nice neighborhood which is wonderfully safe and has a number of nice places to eat and relax. There are small canals running throughout Delft which only adds to the charm and picturesque setting of the area. Our hostess was absolutely warm, welcoming and charming. She provided maps of the area and a list of things to see and do in Delft. Any questions we had during our stay were answered in a timely manner. The listing as shown is very accurate. There is a train station located within a 10 minute walk and can take you straight to Amsterdam or Brussels. For all you Starbucks fans, Starbucks is located at the station.
Jikke's warm welcome to her lovely home was much appreciated. Jikke was available if we needed anything but her well appointed home and clear explanations made our stay easy and uneventful.
A charming house just in center of Delft, nontheless quiet and with a relaxing view to town chanal. Park you car somewhere and forget it for the time of your stay and enjoy Delft.
Jikke was very friendly and always ready to help. All in and about house is as it has been described in offer.
We hope, to be back again.
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying a Jikke's home in Delft! Jikke provided helpful information several days beforehand and also texted us the day we arrived, answering several questions. She provided tips on restaurants, maps...everything one would need. The home was just as it appeared in photos and the rooftop deck provided a nice view of the city. We especially appreciated how quiet it was. Although we don't have children, it would be a great place to stay for a family.
We had a great stay in Jikke's house. It is is beautiful, comfortable, furnished with style and perfectly located. Jikke made us feel very welcome and gave us very useful tips to make the best of our week-end in Delft.
Mi experiencia fue fantástica. Desde el primer momento hasta el último. Teníamos unas expectativas altas pero la casa y la atención de los dueños las superaron.
Se encargaron incluso de pedirnos un taxi.
About the Host, Jikke
Hi! We are a family of 4. We've been living in this house for appr. 10 years. First just the two of us (my husband Sander and I), later on with our children Marijn (girl, 8) and Laurens (boy, 5). We decided to list our house on 'airbnb' when we bought a holiday house in Portugal. We thought it is a shame that such a nice place is vacant during our holidays.
