What a wonderful place! We felt at home right away and didn't want to leave! The kids were so happy with lots of Lego, while we enjoyed the house and the lovely view! We highly recommend this place and its host Jikke, who was always so helpful. Thanks for making our winter holidays to great.
This house and location were ideal! The house is exactly as described, there was extensive information about the house and the city, including tips for lunch, dinner and doing groceries. Jikke was a very kind and helpful host, she explained everything necessary for the house and left pistachios and a bottle of wine as a welcome. The fireplace makes the house extra cozy.
The house was exactly as described and is quite stunning, some of the stairs can be a bit of a challenge but this has to be expected in an old Dutch house. The views from the roof terrace over the rooftops are superb and was brilliant at new year for watching the fireworks all over Delft which went on for hours!! With the house being in old Delft everything you need is without short walking distance As always Delft did not disappoint as the place and people are so friendly, there are so many varied places for good food and drink you won't be left disappointed
The house, located in the central historical part of Delft, is absolutely gorgeous, clean and fully equipped.
From the front of the house there is an inviting view of the canals and bridges while from the terrace the view of the roofs, the Churchs' towers and the sunrise is amazing.
Jikke gave us the most warm welcome and we will not forget her enthusiastic personality.

We really enjoyed our stay in Delft in Jikke's house. She left a bottle of good wine and some sweets for us as they were out on holidays and her friend Babs welcomed us and was very helpul and kind. The house is very beautiful and cozy, we appreciated! Delft is a charming town, we highly recommend to visit it. It's so close to Den Haag and Rotterdam: it is worth staying in a calm place in the evening and move to see something else during the day. The house is in the historical center, in front of a canal, the pictures reflect exactly the flat and the environment, no bad surprises. I could cook and we had an "aperitivo" on the terrace: what a view ! I recommend this spot.
The house was amazing - one of the oldest in Delft and we saw it being pointed out to passengers on the canal boat sight-seeing trip. The furnishings and decor were quirky and interesting and the rooms were light, airy and spacious. The view from the roof terrace was amazing and it was wonderful to sit there and listen to the church bells ringing. The children enjoyed having access to Netflix and we made good use of the bikes which the host kindly left for us. Being over four floors with some very steep staircases, the home may not be suitable for all, but it was no issue for us. Delft was a very charming city, much smaller and quieter than Amsterdam but far more atmospheric and picturesque and we really enjoyed out stay. Thanks, Jikke.
Hi! We are a family of 4. We've been living in this house for appr. 10 years. First just the two of us (my husband Sander and I), later on with our children Marijn (girl, 8) and Laurens (boy, 5). We decided to list our house on 'airbnb' when we bought a holiday house in Portugal. We thought it is a shame that such a nice place is vacant during our holidays.
