California is still in the midst of a drought so I ask that you shower quickly and be aware of your use of water.

Please treat my house as you would your own.
I'm a little compulsive re. lights and heat being turned off when no one is around.

No smoking please.
Since the attic sleeping area is right above master bedroom, shoe removal is appreciated.

There are space heaters. However, please do not use a space heater and the microwave at the same time.

Have a wonderful visit.

Jane place was cosy and in a good location to get around town and see all of the sites. Her place has a home away from home feel. I will difanetly love to stay there again when I come to visit.

We stayed at Jane's wonderful place from Sunday 3 September to Wednesday 6 September. Great place to relax after a busy day in SF. Don't miss out on Jane's amazing chocolate chip cookies!

Great location. Super sweet room. I could totally live in it! I loved the way it was decorated. Great book selection including some killer guide books. I also really liked the kitchenette

Jane's place was absolutely wonderful. The location made it easy to ride to use the MUNI, but there was also a lot of places to see within walking distance. Also, Jane was an amazing host, and the place was very nice and comfortable. Would definitely suggest staying here for those visiting San Francisco.

Her amazing place is the same looked at pictures. Clean, beautiful and cozy. Jane is the most friendly host, always happy to give directions and best options to get where you want to go. The place is so well located, close to bus stations, walking distance to Haight st and Market st. Thanks Jane you are the best!

Jane's attic is exquisite and charming - from the layout, to the decorations, to the amenities, it really made our stay in SF feel like home. Highly recommend!

This is the quintessential, non-touristy, San Francisco experience for us. The place was just a neat place to be in, it being in the attic, with lots of amenities. It was also located in a great place! Just walk around the block and you'll find all kinds of food, and conveniences. There was also Allamo Square close by, which was the perfect place for my husband and I to lie down on a grassy slope and reconnect on a cool and sunny summer day. Jane was a wonderful host. She made sure to welcome us personally, and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed even though she had to be away during our stay. Highly recommended!

Jane User ProfileJane is a superhost.

I'm an enthusiastic bicyclist who works as a family lawyer to keep myself in bike socks. Born in San Francisco, grew up near Stanford University, and moved around a lot before I got back to San Francisco in 1976. I've raised two children in this house and they've always claimed they grew up in the best neighborhood in San Francisco.

Since both my children live elsewhere (but have left their hearts in San Francisco), I'm now occupying this 4-story Victorian on my own--sometimes accompanied by my very shy dog, who prefers the Sierra foothills, where I often go on the weekends. I love meeting new people, but can assure you that you'll have plenty of privacy, as the Attic Suite is on the top floor and is quite separate from the main house.

I travel often to Europe to visit my daughter (here I am in the Dolomite region), and spent two years living and teaching in Africa. This is a wonderful city and a dynamic, friendly neighborhood that I feel fortunate to live in and share.
