An authentic Tanzanian experience in the surburbs and by the beach, breathtaking view, spectacular full moon, very quiet, private, fresh breeze and secure. Beaches at a stone throw, fish market inexpensive, friendly village people to mingle with. Historic sites nearby. You will love it!

The space
Our set up is both cultural and modern to give you a variety of choices and prices. Tents, cottages, a domitory and modern rooms are available, some with the view to the ocean. A cozy bar, and a dining and breakfast place is within. We also have Wifi within the property.

Guest access
There are gates No.1 and 2. Guests should use gate No.2 where there is a Reception. Here there is access for a wheelchair if need be. The free parking is available both in Gate No.1 and No.2.

Other facilities like bicycles, motorcycles, a swimming pool, children playground and open air conference area are in the pipeline for the near future. However, arrangements are in place for guests to swim in another building 20m across.

Mikoko Beach & Cottages is located in Bagamoyo (65km), north of Dar es Salaam. All you need to know about it: It is in the surbubs, simple, fabulous view of ocean, mangroves, a beautiful garden. Very quiet, private, fresh breeze and secure. Beaches are at a stone throw, fish market inexpensive. Delicious local food, friendly village people to mingle with.
