One word: FANTASTIC! Guido's apartment is perfectly located in Trastevere, just as he has described. It is up a steep drive, so be prepared to walk up an incline. Thankfully the cabs we did take were able to make it up the tight access drive. But that is not a criticism of Guido or his apartment. His apartment is beautifully furnished with many high end amenities including a nice washer/dryer, 2 large bedrooms and 2 nice bathrooms. The kitchen/dining area are well equipped to handle a family/group of 4-6 comfortably. This is in very close proximity to the Vatican, short walk to many shops and great restaurants in Trastevere. All in all a great experience, no wonder it was rated one of the top 10 airbnb's in Trastevere! Glad we had the chance to experience it! Grazie!

Guido's place is exactly as pictured. It is very close to a major bus stop and also an easy walk to the Vatican and city center. One note however, the street is somewhat steep and very narrow. So taxis, other than very small ones, have problems. And you will encounter steps to get to the main street. But the location of the apt, the cleanliness, the comfort makes up for this.

Beautiful! The apartment is lovely and has a beautiful view from the balcony. The location is amazing - just a few minutes walk to the Vatican. And Guido is a great host. He responded immediately to all of my inquiries and even arranged for private car service to and from the airport. Excellent !!!

Apartment was just as pictured. Very modern and stylish with a cool light in the kitchen! Bedrooms were cozy and living room was comfortable. Little terrace was really cute as well. If I lived in Rome this would be the place I'd want. Only downside is the accessibility of the street itself for some Uber's and taxi services to access. 2/3 couldn't make it to the front door and we had to walk down the big stairs south of the apartment to get our rides. Also the Internet went out occasionally so we had to reset the modem several times. Great location and beautiful apartment overall though

We loved our stay at Guido's place. Guido was very responsive to every question we had before and during our stay. He arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport upon arrival and to get us to the train station for an early morning departure. He met us on arrival, and explained everything about the apartment and neighborhood. The apartment was as advertised. Lots of space for three guests and a lovely city view from the living room and back bedroom. Location is conveniently located between Vatican and major sites such as Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

What can I say, besides I wish that Guido and I could arrange an apartment swap once a year...seriously! My husband, mom, and I went to Rome for the weekend to celebrate the canonization of my Great Great Aunt, Mother Marie Elisabetta Hesselblad this past weekend. We wanted a two bedroom close to The Vatican for various activities during the weekend. The place was great. It was a10 minute walk right to the center stage in St. Peter's Square, and a 10 minute walk to some great restaurants in Trastevere. We rented a Vespa for 2 days and were able to see plenty of the town, and it's touristy sights, but also including a ride to Ostia. (The scooter rental shop was also a 10 minute walk.) The apartment is on the ground floor, key for my mom. The street itself is slightly uphill, but we just walked slow and it was no problem at all! The bedrooms were spacious and we had two bathrooms, which was great for the early mornings! The kitchen is large and had enough basics to take care of your meal needs, as we were able to fill up our fridge for the week with breakfast and various snacks. The living room is spacious as well, with a quaint balcony over looking a fragrant smelling courtyard! We all had the best weekend and hope to go back ASAP! This is definitely the place to stay when in Roma! Mi piace.
