About this listing
Our cottage is very comfortable: You can sunbath and enjoy the heated pool and nap in the shade of the trees before enjoying a drink in the nearest tapas bar.
That's how it is called: the Pigeon Loft. Perched at the bottom of the property, this unusual cottage of 10 meter height awaits you in winter or in summer.
Huddled under the duvet, listening to the sound of leaves shaken by the wind, staring into the show that nature has to offer, you will not forget your stay!
During the summer take a sunbath on the edge of the infinity pool to the sweet sound of cicadas.

Amelie was very good when we arrived at her home. We had the guest house which was a nice comfortable size even though we did not spend much time except to sleep and shower as there is so much to see in the area. Bathroom and shower were great, lots of hot water and the shower was terrific. The bedroom is upstairs, The down side to the bedroom was that the floor was not clean at all. Lots of cob webs along the baseboards with spiders in them, not liking spiders at all, creeped me out at night. Other than that it was fine.
ver sory for these spiders.. We live in the country side and there are bugs and spiders everywhere. i will definitely buy a spray to avoid them coming back. I noticed they were some and did ask the cleaning lady to take them away.. She confessed that she is arachnea phobic so she did not.. very sorry.
We had a fantastic stay . Everything we needed was there and the apartment was very clean. Communication was wonderful and the kids loved the loft. We were a family of four with the kids being 14 and (website hidden) is located in a lovely area and we would love to go back to visit again . Thanks Amelie
This countryside vintage lodge was fantastic. Amelie was a gracious, considerate host and was quick to respond to questions. My fiancé and I enjoyed a relaxing time reading by the pool, eating meals on the porch, and visiting the town of St. Remy, a 5 minute drive away. The views were breathtaking here and this place provided the perfect venue to relax and enjoy the French countryside. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I stayed at Le Pigeonnier for 6 nights in May with my husband and 8yo son. It is a separate building on the property with the owner's home, which was very lovely with olive trees, a little pond and stream (with tadpoles, much to my son's delight), a boule (sp?) court, badminton court, and infinity pool.
The Pigeon Loft itself was sweet, and a little rustic with simple unfinished wood floors on upper levels and on some bathroom cabinetry. Each floor had it's own heater. There was also an upstairs air conditioner, but we did not need to use it. The kitchen was complete, including dishwasher, range, fridge/freezer. A living area had a nice sized flat screen television. Being a true loft, the second and third levels are accessed by ladder/stairs with minimal head room. We thought them quaint, but I mention because it would make getting up and down difficult for anyone with a physical challenge. My son loved his third floor bedroom - with room mostly for just a bed!
The location was quiet, but quite close to the center of St. Remy. We found it easy to sightsee throughout the region with the Pigeon Loft as our home base.
Amelie and her family were very nice, and my son loved the opportunity to play and swim with her daughters!
Overall, I definitely recommend the Pigeon Loft for a couple or small family looking to explore the Provence region and wanting a quiet, relaxing home base for their stay.
