The Space

Completely new studio near the Javaplein in Amsterdam East, a sparkling neighboorhood with a big variety of restaurants , cafe's, museums, parks etc.
The studio accomodates everything you need: a bed for two persons, a private bathroom and a private kitchen (including a fridge and cooker) so you have your own private place in the middle of Amsterdam. Towels and bedlinnen are included.

The studio is next to trainstation 'Amsterdam Muiderpoort' (about 5 minutes walk) so very easy to reach with public transportation. Tram 14 is just around the corner and will take you to the centre in just 7 minutes.

  • We had a great time in Amsterdam and in Stephanies apartment. The neighbourhood was nice and had a supermarket and some great restaurants near by. Stephanie was helpful and very easy to communicate with, she had also gathered a lot of information which made our stay easier.

  • Stephanies flat is a perfect place to stay while you are visiting Amsterdam. The flat is small but offers everything you could possibly need. The neighbourhood is really nice and everything you need, like a supermarket or a bus station, is just around the corner. The connection to the city centre is really good, you can take either the bus or the tram and it will not take you longer than 10 minutes.
Stephanie was a great host, the Communication with her was fast and easy and she gave us some really good tips for what to do and to see in Amsterdam. She also had a folder with a lot of Information, which was really helpful.
We would definitely recommend to stay at Stephanies flat while visiting Amsterdam!

  • Stephanie's apartment is just as she described it and cozy enough for a couple such as us. She was very organized and accommodating to our arrival and departure times.
It was very easy to get to her place from the airport (1 train) and the tram system is right around the corner with ready access to the center and surrounding areas.
Stephanie took the time to go over the place, her awesome and helpful binder, and answer any questions we might've had.
The apartment is on the top floor so be prepared to take some steps and being that high up the water pressure for the shower is lower than what you might be used to.
Would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a cozy apartment.

  • Stephanie was a perfect host and the apartment, while small, was exactly what we needed for our stay in Amsterdam. It was authentic to the area (four flights of stairs to climb) and was well connected with public transport. We had a great time riding around Amsterdam by hiring bikes. The apartment was clean and tidy, couldn't fault it!

  • Great apartment and Stephanie the host was amazingly kind and lovely, the only downside was issues with the internet (one of the reasons we chose this apartment was internet access) Stephanie had organised more reliable internet via her neighbours, however they had gone on vacation and had turned off their net, other than this disappointment I highly recommend this apartment!!

  • We stayed at Stephanie's for 4 days and it was wonderful! We loved the area, very quite during the night with all the amenities nearby, just in between two tram lines that bring you everywhere in the city and near the train station (perfect to get to the airport).

Stephanie was a great host, she was very welcoming, she showed us her flat (amazing!!) and her city infos were very useful. She even let us leave our suitcases at her place, so we didn't have to pay for lockers at the central train station.

The studio is exactly as showed in the pictures and it is absolutely everything you need for a city break, because you will need it only for sleeping!

Amsterdam is a wonderful city and I am really looking forward to go back and stay again at Stephanie's.

  • Stephanie's apartment was very much as we expected - cosy, cute, small, clean and light. The only drawbacks were that the internet was a bit unstable and that the water pressure in the shower wasn't too good, but I guess that's to be expected on fourth floor. And, I suppose, a luxury in a neighborhood where the apartments had no bathrooms originally (or so we were told, at least) :) Apart from that we found everything to our satisfaction and even more so - Stephanie had made a personalized note and a bag of chocolates for us on top of her very helpful binder with tips for sightseeing and stuff. Stephanie herself proved very nice and helpful and flexible about checking in and out. We would definitely recommend staying and might even do so ourselves another time!

  • We stayed at Stephanie's studio for only four (4) nights. The location is great if you like to have a quiet place away from the noise of the downtown tourist attractions. The flat is newly renovated, small but cute and yet functional enough for two people on short-stay. Her place has easy access to Line 14 to take you to downtown, AMS airport and Central Station in less time.

Stephanie patiently waited for us. We were late getting to her flat (my apology for any inconvenience) due to some personal errands, securing mobile simcard at AMS airport and getting lost locating her flat on a rainy day. Stephanie was kind to help carry our luggage all the way to the 4th floor of the studio - a breathtaking staircase climb but a great work-out.

The only downside to her studio was the absence of WiFi connectivity - an important tool for every traveller for booking city tours, airline reservation, contacting relatives and friends and selecting airline seats - just to name a few.

Because I love to travel myself, I hire the studio to people who like this as well. I live in the same building at the first floor (the studio is at the fourth floor) and I completely renovated the studio this month so everything is completely new! I want to offer you the best place and wish you the best time here in Amsterdam I will do everything possible to make that happen, so if you have any requests about breakfast or things you might need, please let me know.
