Colleen was lovely & met us to show us around & give tips & suggestions on places to visit.
The apartment was well appointed & it was wonderful to have breakfast on the deck & watch the wildlife on the lake & have a wine & relax in the pool & spa after a day exploring the surrounding area.
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Having arrived just before Christmas, Colleen was very helpful and considerate to our needs and even put up a Christmas tree for us! The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the views from the terrace and the stunning beach was just a short walk away. Everyone we met at the complex was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!
Quiet and peaceful place. Colleen was lovely and very welcoming. We loved that you could walk to the local cafes and surf club. The pool was just perfect, especially because the beach was just too windy on some days. Thanks for having us!
Colleen was very helpful before we even booked and stayed at the place with suggestions on how to get there etc. Colleen met us upon arrival at some silly hour in the morning to show us round. The rooms were all nicely furnished and whatever we needed was there, this included games etc for the children. The neighbours were all friendly and to be honest it didn't feel like we were away from home. Would have no hesitation in staying there again, very chilled and lovely holiday.
What a lovely unit! Huge balcony, great location convenient for the beach, wildlife sanctuary, shops and restaurants. My 16 month old loved watching the bird life from the balcony and shouting "wheeeeee!" every time a plane flew overhead. The planes weren't a nuisance as they stopped overnight. We made use of the pool and spa in the complex too.
My partner and I were in Currumbin for a wedding and it was such a great, convienent place to stay! The apartment was large with two bathrooms that we definitely made use of getting ready! The place was neat and tidy and had a great big balcony. Very close to the beach and within walking distance to the supermarket.
I would definitely stay here again!
Colleen could not have done more to make us feel welcome and at home. The accommodation was spotless and easy to find our way around.
I am a retired journalist living in Brisbane about one hour's drive from the Gold Coast. I have owned the apartment at Currumbin since 2002. For several years now I have been managing the bookings and cleaning of the unit personally. This gives a chance to meet my guests in person and assist with any special needs. I did a lot of travelling in my 20s and 30s, living and working in the UK, Ireland and Canada. I never tire of meeting travellers today. I love languages (trying to learn Mandarin), the theatre, nature and all creatures great and small.
