Hello and welcome to the Tamar Suite is located next to the Jerusalem Theatre and the President's residence in one of Jerusalem’s most beautiful streets.
It is a lovely 1BR private suite, surrounded by a quite garden in old Talbiyeh neighborhood which is the best central location for exploring Jerusalem.
It's quiet and peaceful and yet very central within an easy walking distance to the new Mamila mall and the old city, Emek Refaim St. restaurants and coffee shops, city center Ben Yehuda st., etc.
Tamar suite is all in one level. It is ideal for one or two guests.
It has free wireless internet, AC, cable TV, fully equipped kitchen etc.
A free parking lot and a bus stop are just next to the suite and a small shopping center with all needed services less than 5 minutes away.
Aviva and Matty will be there to assist with useful information and tips.
Matty was very welcoming from the minute our booking was accepted - I emailed several queries and he replied immediately with helpful hints. The apartment is great for a couple - the bed comfortable; the boiler very efficient at providing hot water and as we were there in a cold spell the heating provided was fantastic! We only used the kitchen for breakfast and preparing a salad platter - everything we needed to do this was supplied. Even some English books to read and maps and a guidebook to use. The dogs got used to us going in and out in no time. Great quiet location - only 20 mins walk to Old City, 5 mins up the road to Jerusalem Theatre with a great cafe - The apartment description is how we found it to be.
Can see how lovely it would be to stay in summer with your own outdoor area for dining/drinks -
Parking on a meter outside and free from 1.00pm Friday to 8.00am Sunday morning but really no need for a car here.
we loved our time - thanks Matty for having us.
Matty was super friendly and happy to help us with information about Jerusalem. Tamar was clean&tidy and had everything we needed and was equipped with extra radiators to help us keep toasty warm.
Walking distance to old city, supermarkets and great restaurants in the German Colony. Free parking nearby and metered parking just outside. All in all - highly recommended
Nice apartment; very clean. Great location and Matty extremely friendly and helpful.
Very nice flat, a little paradise, very central in jerusalem, not far from emek refaim with all good restaurants
Matty is a very friendly and welcoming person in order Dor you to fell well straight away
Matty is a sweat heart and couldn't have made me feel more welcome, at ease and at home. My big regret was that I was so busy working that I rarely saw saw him - he is certainly someone who I wished I got to know better. The place is/was just as described on the site. It's in a marvelous area of the city - easy to walk any and everywhere. And it's quiet. I would highly recommend recommend the unit and Matty as a host.
Matty was a very communicative and helpful host. He responded to all questions immediately and was very welcoming. The apartment was comfortable and cozy, and was within very close walking distance to major sights in the city. The free parking was a few minutes away and very convenient. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and experience. One thing to note, if anyone in your party is afraid of dogs, be sure to mention to Matty ahead of time. They have two dogs that enjoy the courtyard and bark, though were friendly and nice.
Matty's apartment was as described. It had everything we needed. Matty was a very friendly and helpful host.

Aviva and I love to travel and we enjoy very much to host guests from all over the world in our suites. Many of our guests became good friends and they are returning again and again. We also visited some of them when we were traveling to their countries.
We love Jerusalem very much (in spite of all dificulties - and there are some...) and we are always willing to share our knowledge of some hidden beautiful historical sites, unknown bars or restaurant or other tips with our guests. (only if they ask...)
