I enjoyed my 3 night stay in Shirley's suite, it is a nice setup and very clean. Neighborhood is beautiful and safe, close to bus stops and local shops. Shirley was welcoming and helpful, I will definitely be keeping this airbnb's info for future trips to Vancouver. Thanks Shirley!

I spent 2 months in this place. There were already milk, bread, fruit, muffins, the time of arrival, making me no worry of food. The kitchen was fully equipped with seasonings. I cannot name all but it has all I need. The location was great and close to main bus stops going to downtown, metrotown, UBC, Canada line station, etc. There were plenty of restaurants on 41 Ave. I could have gone to different restaurants over a week. Moreover, there were also plenty of grocery stores for food. Shirley was highly friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was as described and the place was nice, very clean and spacious. It is a very quiet neighborhood and we had a perfect sleep in the cosy bed. The Bus stop is only 3 min. away and the 49 Bus took us in about 12 min. to the skytrain and another 15 min. to Downtown. Very easy to get around from here. We haven't really checked out the neighborhood for Restaurants but there are a lot of Asian places, a Pizza Restaurant and many shops. Shirley was a very nice host and even provided food for breakfast for us and lots of information about Vancouver. We felt like being home and we'd come back any time.

Shirley's place was very comfortable, super clean and had everything you need for spending some cosy days away from Vancouver downtown. It has convenient bus connections to downtown, though and lies in a safe and beautiful neighbourhood. We definitely recommend it!

Shirley made sure we were provided with the address, directions from the airport and security code. We arrived later in the evening but she made sure to meet with us the next day.

Excellent little studio in a very cozy and safe neighborhood. It's got everything you need for recreating the comfort of home (full kitchen, HDTV). Also decently close to downtown/attractions, and if tired (or lazy) there are eateries/shops within walking distance. Shirley is an excellent and very accommodating host, and the welcome goodies she leaves for the renters are a very nice touch. Recommended !

Shirley came out to greet us - just in time - as we were struggling with the slightly tricky automatic lock. We got a wonderful welcome, with a tour of the unit and directions (with a hand-written map) to various parts of Vancouver (and the lovely Kerrisdale neighbourhood, a quick walk from the place). We really appreciated the fruit, bread, meat, cream and other food that she provided; that saved us from that first shopping trip right upon arrival. The place was very clean, and had everything we needed, like a local telephone, bedside clock, toaster, washer and dryer, and a fan (it was hot). The memory foam mattress topper was comfortable - but definitely held the heat more than I like. The large bathtub is a pretty significant step up from the floor. There's an awkwardly placed grab bar for stepping in and even more necessarily for stepping out. This would be challenging for anyone with issues around mobility, balance, etc. but otherwise qualifies as one of those "I wouldn't design my bathroom this way but I can deal with it while I'm here" things. Internet speed was moderate.
