The Space

This cosy bedroom with double bed, closet, and desk looks out onto our sunny backyard. Our gourmet kitchen is at your disposal, as are our two adoring cats. Enjoy easy access to city centre, but don't forget to explore our friendly neighborhood!

A sunny private double-bedroom with use of a shared bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen -- located just around the corner from the Historic Kilmainham Gaol Museum.

We have 2 cats, so allergy sufferers be warned! :)

Our house is a 2-floor terraced flat with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large backyard with seating, a very open kitchen (with dishwasher and laundry), a living room with fireplace, and a small study.

We are located on a central bus line (the closest stop is across the street ~100m), so town is a mere 10 minute ride away. Shops are right around the corner, while the pub is steps from our (website hidden). James Hospital is 900m down the road. Phoenix Park and the War Memorial Gardens are minutes away.

Temple Bar is 10 minutes by bus. Grafton and Henry Street 15mins by bus and O'Connell 15mins. Close enough to the city centre but just out enough from the hustle and bustle!

The real highlight of our place is the kitchen. In addition to being big, bright, and sunny, it's also very well equipped. We have nearly all of the pots, pans, knives, and gadgets you need to prepare a great meal.

Longer term rates are available upon request.

You have total access to the kitchen, bathroom, back garden, living room, and dining room. There is always room in the fridge and cupboards for your food, etc. while you're here.

Guest Access

Guests have access to a shared bathroom, living space, gourmet kitchen, BBQ, and back garden. Guests on longer stays are welcome to use the laundry facilities.

Getting around

We are located on two major bus lines (13 & 40) both of which go straight to the city centre. In light traffic it's 10 minutes. At rush hour it's 20. There is a parking spot out front of our house, please enquire to make sure it's free during your stay.

  • Jordan and Cassandra are amazing hosts. To begin with, they are amazingly knowledgable about the city they live in. Even though I had been to Ireland several times before, I learned a lot about the country and the city of Dublin that I never would have known had I stayed elsewhere. Additionally, Jordan and Cassandra are clearly skilled at providing advice and suggestions that are tailored to the kind of trip that you want to have. Rather than just giving us the same ideas that they had given everyone else, they provided my wife and I with places to investigate that were specific to our interests: Irish history, running, and craft brewing.

The reason that Jordan and Cassandra are so good at tailoring information and suggestions to individual travelers is because they are exceedingly sympathetic and kind hosts. Our airline lost my wife's and my luggage, but because we had Jordan and Cassandra it was a much smaller headache than it could have been. They helped us find the cheapest and most convenient places to stock up on emergency clothes and hygiene necessities, they were ready to make change from our big bills so we could hop and the bus, and they even offered to let us borrow some clothes while we tried to get our bags back! When the bags were delivered by the airline (without telling my wife or I) they accepted the delivery and put the bags in our room. They really went beyond and conceivable expectations and made our trip so much better. We hope we can stay with them again in the future; their place is what makes Airbnb so great.

Plus the cats (Joey and Ellie) are very cute and friendly.

  • Cassandra and Jordan's place is convienently located, with one bus ride directly to the city center. Although if you want to walk, it is definitely doable! Best of all, Cassandra and Jordan were incredibly kind and helpful during our stay! We would definitely reccommend their place. :)

  • Jordan and Cassandra are really nice people, they helped us and gave good advices. We were always out, so sadly we didn't had time to have long talks but the few moments we spent with them were nice.
Take care guys and good luck Cassandra for your exams!

  • Cassandra and Jordan are a nice couple, who gave helpful tips for our visit in Dublin.
The room was simple, but enough for us, clean with a good bed. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a nice garden (and two lovely cats).
The house is near the wonderful Phoenix Park and about 30 minutes walking from the centre, but there is good public transport and the bus stop is 2 minutes walking. Shops are nearby.

  • Cassandra and Jordan are really attentive and likeable hosts. We felt very comfortable in their house. Some beautiful places are just within walking distance and also the city centre of Dublin is quick and easy accessible by bus. We would recommend this place to our friends.

  • Cassandra is very nice (I haven't met Jordan, not in town) and helpful. Instructions to get to the place and "house rules" are very clear and accurate.
The room is nice and clean and the house is located in a family neighborhood, not too far from the city center.
I would definitely recommend a stay at Cassandra and Jordan's.

  • it was the first time i stayed in this kind of private accommodation, and cassandra and jordan were very nice, they made us feel very comfortable! the house was really clean and tidy, and it's a really nice walk until the city center.
i specially enjoyed the area, as it's not a touristic one, to walk to the center we were able to see areas that tourists don't really get to go, and although the center is very nice, there are many neighborhoods in the surroundings that are worth wondering about!
so thank you jordan and cassandra!

We are both professional students (medical student and PhD student). We love trying new foods and wines and love to travel and meet new people. We both like hiking and learning the ins and outs of new places. We are not very good at sitting still, so we are often out and about when we are not working. We know a lot about cool little day trips around Dublin and are happy to share and help you get the most out of your trip!
