This was a really important trip, so the place that I was going to choose to live was a really important decision, I'm so glad that I made the perfect one. I had an amazing time in the City and the apartment was the perfect place to chill after a long day or even when I wasn't in the mood to go out. Willey is the most lovely cat with lots of love to give.
Perfect place to have relax and no stress. Beautiful yard and nice neighbourhood. The house is perfect for two people, clean, tidy and bright. The room is pretty small, but the bed is very comfortable and the closet is big enough. Wiley is simply lovely.
Lots of nice cafè near there (Daily Press, Outpost, Little Zelda) and also restaurants (Chavelas, Alice's Arbor).
Very easy to get the train to Manhattan.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
It's a beautiful decorated, comfortable and spacious apartment located just beside a subway station. You can get to Manhattan in less than 30 minutes, which I found very good.
I had a short stay there, but it really felt like home for me. As an old apartment, it has lots of space and very interesting architecture, but also has its minor issues - such an unstable heating system that may overheat sometimes, but honestly, just open the windows a little and that's not a problem.
It's equiped with most of the household items one may need, as well as a wide option of things to watch on TV and interesting books to take a look!
I already miss being there!
Deidre's apartment is amazing! Lots of space and natural light. The tree lined street is lovely and getting to Manhattan is super easy. Prospect Park is at walking distance and so are many cafés, restaurants and shops. Definitely recommended!
I had a blast staying with Deidre! She was so sweet and her apartment was the perfect oasis to come home to at the end of a long day. Her cat was awesome and very chill as well. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to NY.
Lived here for 3.5 months this Spring, and had a great time in this apartment. The room is pretty small but the bed is giant, and the closet space is definitely big enough. Overall never felt crowded in the space. The living room and kitchen are great, Deidre does an awesome job of keeping the place clean and cozy. The apartment is literally around the corner from the C train, which brings you in really quickly to downtown Brooklyn, and is still really easy to get to the city. The neighborhood was super lively and everything is close by, but be ready for some cultural (website hidden). There's a cat who will change your life/ your idea of cats!
I'm a documentary photographer and filmmaker. I like rock 'n roll, road trips and bargain hunting. If you're interested in street culture then you might like my documentary about street dance in Brooklyn - it's called Flex Is Kings - check it out sometime!
