The space
Your private suite is a large space with an ensuite bathroom and shower. The room has a comfortable queen size bed, mini fridge with freezer, microwave, a table for two and an electric fireplace to add to the ambience.
Guest access
You have your own parking space next to Papa Oak. The private entrance to your Suite is down a lighted gravel path to the back of the house. There are stairs inside the room leading to the upstairs Dining room and Coffee Bar.
During your stay
We love meeting our guests for coffee & breakfast upstairs at the coffee bar. We also understand your desire for privacy if you wish. We are always available when needed.
Other things to note
We're 30 miles south of Charlottesville in Historic Scottsville. Many of Virginia’s most Historical sites, including Jefferson's Monticello, Madison's Montpelier, Monroe's Highland, Fork Union Military Academy, the University of Virginia, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, are all relatively close by.
We're close to everything that makes being in nature amazing. Many nature and hiking areas to explore. James, Rivanna & Hardware Rivers are nearby for floating, rafting & reeling. We have Wineries, Breweries, Restaurants & Coffee Houses, and shopping of all kinds – from thrift shops to Antiques. We look forward to hosting you at Tatwood.
