Cozy and cute Little Italy home

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Avenue Casgrain, Montreal, QC H2S 2Z1, Canada

The Space

Cute little apartment, perfect for one or two people to stay. Double front room divided into living room with lots of light and seating area, and bedroom with double bed. Well-lit bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Small front balcony and back balcony with table and chairs for the summer. Washing machine (no dryer - just outdoor clothesline and indoor drying racks), high-speed internet but no television. No air conditioning in summer (it's doable - I do it every year!)

This is an adorable apartment, and the neighbourhood is a real selling point. Nestled between the Mile-End and Little Italy, you will be steps away from a million wonderful cafés, restaurants, bars, independent book and music stores, and concert venues, not to mention the wonderful Jean-Talon market. A five minute walk to two different subway stations, everything in the city is easily accessible by public transit from here. From April to November there are lots of bixi (bikeshare) stations nearby.

I have lived in this area and in the Mile-End for more than ten years and adore it, and would be more than happy to make recommendations and answer logistical questions, although I generally won't be in town when you are here.

  • Marisa was an easy going and helpful host. Her recommendations for the neighborhood were extremely useful and I enjoyed staying in the apartment. It was close to public transit and within walking distance to several neighborhoods with lots to do, see, and eat. The apartment was a great introduction to Montreal and a base from which to explore.

  • The apartment was accurately depicted in the photos and description. It was conveniently located to several points of interest and public transportation, which made for a very enjoyable stay in Montreal. Additionally, Marisa was very communicative as we had a hassle free experience. I absolutely recommend Marisa's Cozy and cute Little Italy home and will stay there again when visiting Montreal.

I'm a Torontonian transplanted in Montreal for more than ten years now. I have lived in several different countries across the Americas and Europe, and I love to travel. I work ten minutes away from my home in Montreal, at an NGO that does advocacy and awareness-raising for refugee and immigrant rights. My four main passions (aside from social justice and political inclinations) are music, dancing, travelling and cooking. While you are staying at my place and exploring Montreal, I am probably seeking adventures in some other city or land. I am curious but respectful of people and spaces when I travel, and I hope you are the same way.
