The Space

Come spend your stay in NYC in this spacious, sun-drenched 3 Bedroom 3 Bath apartment. Share great views, rooftop access, huge equipped kitchen with dishwasher, living room and library! Washer and dyer free for use in apartment! (TIde Clean & Clear detergent available.)

Lady Liberty is outside the living room window and beautiful views of Manhattan from the roof! Now that Winter is here, the leaves have fallen and all of Manhattan is in view!

This room is 90 sq. ft. with a large closet and attached private bath with walk in shower. There is a comfortable full sized futon and side table. A floor lamp and rug add to the cozy comfort of the room.

One block from Prospect Park. One block from the 7th Ave restaurants and stores! Nice walk to Grand Army Plaza Market and the Brooklyn Museum.

Street parking available. Closest to F, G subway as well as D, N, R, 2, 3, B, Q. Easy access to JFK and LGA airports!

I am originally a New Orleans area native and a young professional. I have a cute well behaved orange kitty who has the run of the shared space, but would not enter your room. My roommate has an adorable, playful, and quiet Pomeranian.

Hope to see you in Brooklyn soon!

  • We had a great time staying in this lovely apartment in the beautiful Park Slope area of Brooklyn. Wonderful company was provided by the cat Louie. Lyric was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the location and having breakfast on the roof of the building with views all the way to Manhattan. We couldn't have wished for a better basecamp on our visit to New York City. Don't forget that there are many great restaurants and bars in this neighbourhood, just 3-5 minutes from this apartment!

  • Had a fantastic stay with Lyric and Luis! Location, apartment and host were all superb. I can't imagine anyone not having a great experience. Would book again with absolutely no hesitation!

  • The bedroom was clean and quite spacious and the private bathroom was a huge bonus. The use of the kitchen is useful for breakfast or if you want to have something light in the evening.
Its a great location close to the subway and buses and Prospect Park is just a short walk away.
Plenty of eateries nearby, particularly on 7th Avenue and all the attractions of the big Apple are easily reached from this accommodation.
I found the area friendly and met all requirements for my short stay in NYC.

  • Staying with Lyric was wonderful. The flat is just as described. Clean and comfortable and close to everything in Park Slope. Lyric was very helpful with info on local parking garages, restaurants and transportation. I loved the rooftop and would certainly consider a return visit in the future.
    Be well Lyric!

  • Staying with Lyric was absolutely wonderful, we could not have asked for more. We stayed with her for two months while we got to know New York and started our lives here. At the end of our stay it felt strange to leave. We really started to feel like here place was our home as well. The bed is very comfortable, and you have your own private bathroom, so you never feel like you are imposing on anyone. You can be sure the apartment will be clean. There is a cleaning lady that comes to clean the entire house every two weeks as well as the room after you move out/ others move in (This took me some getting used to). During our stay Lyric was friendly and helpful. We even went out with here and her friends while we lived there and after moving out she invited us to her Labor Day Barbecue. Even our dog Beau an 8 lb. Papillon became friends with here awesome cat Louie. Louie by the way is completely spoiled with a fountain like water dish, an automatic self-cleaning litter box and his own room =) If you are looking for a place to stay that is safe, comfortable, welcoming, in a fun neighborhood and close to Manhattan, you will be happy here.

  • We just finished spending 2 weeks at Lyric's apartment, and she was an excellent host! Lyric was very prompt to respond during the booking process and answered all our questions.

When we arrived, the apartment was clean, and our room was ready for us. Throughout our entire stay, Lyric was very conscious and considerate of our needs. She was also very communicative, encouraging us to speak up if the apartment was ever too loud or disruptive although we never had to because the apartment stayed quiet.

The location of the apartment is great, being both close to the subway, as well as many restaurants and stores.

Louie the cat was incredibly fun to play with and all too friendly.

Our trip to New York was an awesome experienced, and was only enhanced by our stay with Lyric. We certainly plan to stay with her again in the future and would encourage others to do so as well.

  • We loved Louie the cat. Unfortunately, Louie was the highlight of our stay with Lyric, a lovely young lady who was very gracious when we met her, but on our third night did not have the courtesy to keep the noise level with her friends down to a level so that we could sleep. With our room being only a few feet from the kitchen & main entrance, we were forced to listen to loud conversation, including a 15-min. phone call, between midnight and 1:15 a.m. when my husband had to get dressed and ask them to quiet down. During this time the door to the apt. was opened & closed several times as people came & left. Although we asked Lyric for a refund on our final sleepless night, she refused to accommodate us saying we should have told her sooner that she and her friends were bothering us. The room was very barebones, including only a futon & nightstand. There was no chair or dresser. We were offered the use of the living room but were not comfortable using it with the friends coming and going. On our last morning there I did go into the living room, which at that time was littered with dirty dishes from the previous night and baby paraphernalia scattered about. (One of the friends visiting (email hidden). old baby.) There was no shelf or flat surface in the bathroom or shower on which to place toiletries. There was no smoke alarm in the bedroom. We were concerned about the fact that there was no way for us to lock the bedroom door while we were out during the day. Even though we always closed the door when leaving in the morning, on one day the door was wide open when we returned that night with our belongings clearly visible. With her friends coming and going throughout the weekend, we felt obligated to carry our valuables with us. In summary, I don't think this is a good choice for retirees such as ourselves due to the noise level til 1:30 a.m. and the fact that the apt. is a fourth floor walk-up. These facts might not be an issue to someone who is accustomed to being up and about in the middle of the night, but it certainly did not suit us.

Hi, I was just posting my rooms on Airbnb for the 2012 holiday season, but since I've had such a wonderful time hosting and meeting new people I've decided to keep it up. I am happy, easy-going and responsible young professional originally from Abita Springs, La. I have a 1.5 year old orange kitty who is well behaved, very loving and fun. I love living in Brooklyn and am in love with my apartment... I can't wait to share it with you! I've worked with kids my entire life and hope to never stop. They are ridiculous and amazing! I love to travel, read, listen to music, watch tv online and eat delicious food! I've also recently started running in Prospect Park as well as getting back into Yoga and Ballet. If you are interested in staying in one of my rooms please email me a little about yourself or selves. Thank you!
