The space

Are you planning on visiting New York City or do you need a temporary place for a longer stay?
Located on one of Brooklyn's most beautiful streets and in one of it's most vibrant neighborhoods, the brownstone building has been renovated last winter.

The apartment has, new wooden floors, central heating, AC,oven, microwave, refrigerator, sound system, super high-speed internet, vintage espresso machine and a beautiful large bathroom with a bathtub.

Your room is quiet, comes with a queen size bed, fresh sheets, desk, sofa and a built-in closet. Your window is facing the Back and catches a lot of light

Bed-Stuy is one of the most vibrant and upcoming neighborhoods in Brooklyn. You will find a lot of new and good restaurants, cafes, parks and historic buildings in walking distance.

The A/C-Train (3 min walking) connects you quickly to Manhattan and the G-Train (10 min walking) brings you to Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Queens. The citibike station around the corner also allows you to experience Brooklyn with bike.

The room would be ideal for a single person or a couple. Feel at home with the big kitchen, living room and laundry machines. Separate entrances and sliding doors give you a lot of privacy. Don't hesitate to ask me for tips and recommendations to make your trip as interesting as possible.

This building is beautiful and historic. Staying with Victor is like staying with a friend or extended family - he has great advice & tips & is an engaging storyteller. He is so easy to share space with. His place is artistic & comfortable with an unbeatable location. I've stayed in several spots around town but this one feels most like "home." :)

Victor was an excellent host and always made himself available to assist with any of our needs. His home was exactly as described and located in an excellent area that while quiet at night, was in an incredibly convenient location. My girlfriend and I spent a week in his place and we felt that it was an excellent value and experience. Many thanks to Victor for helping make our first trip to NYC a great one.

What a beautiful space! And what an amazing host! The apartment is located blocks away from the AC line (20-30 mins from Midtown), in such a nice area. We were just a walk away from some of the best food. The room was so spacious and perfect for winding down after a day of exploring the city. The bathroom is huge and very clean. We saw Victor just a couple of times, once when picking up our keys and again on our way back from dinner. Otherwise he was pretty hands off, which we appreciated. He gave us some cool suggestions for nightlife so be sure to ask him about that! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs a place to stay in BK! Thanks Victor!

Staying with Victor was great. He has a gorgeous apartment in exactly the right part of Bed-Stuy (the part closest to good transportation and retail options). Another reviewer commented on safety. I lived for two years in NYC before staying here, and never felt any more unsafe here than I have living in various Manhattan neighborhoods. By which I mean, it's safe. In fact, more people said good morning and were courteous in Victor's neighbor than any other place I lived in NYC.

Nice place, nice host, dangerous neighborhood, bad local services.

Response from Victor:
Unfortunatly you were always concern about security and uncorfortable with the local people. Saying that the neightboorhood is dangerous is not at reality, only a perception from you. NYC is not a village and you need to accept that in order to live here. Good Luck

Victor was a very gracious host the entire two months I stayed - a second home while I was in New York. Thank you. Although the A train is right around the corner, I favored walking the extra couple of blocks to the G train, a nicer route to get to Manhattan, and on a good day - only 30mins door to door. It's a uniquely quiet spot - aside from your standard apartment neighbor noise - a nice escape from the hustle and bustle.
