Large loft apartment in the heart of true Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We have the best apartment in the building - top floor with lots of windows facing North and West. The spacious master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and three large windows that look out over New York City and Brooklyn. The second bedroom is also private with its own door and has a great full sized bed - perfect for a couple or an individual.
The apartment features original wood floors, tin ceilings, large oversized windows, and an open floor plan.

Interaction with Guests
As a host, I do my best to accommodate my guests and ensure their stay is easy and fun. I have a flexible check in // check out schedule and can work with you to find a time that is best.
One of the best neighborhoods in New York City, Williamsburg is vibrant and has everything you could want! Great food, great shopping, great bars. There is something to do every day and every night. Everything from parks and farmers markets to music and dancing. You can make your trip as relaxing or as adventurous as you desire!
No smoking inside of the apartment, however there is a terrific rooftop. Please treat our home as you would your own. We know you will love it here as much as we do!
My daughter and I stayed here for three nights. Joshua was very helpful in arranging the key handover at a convenient time and was on hand to help us settle in.
He was upfront in warning about possible traffic/subway noise in the main bedroom but it did not cause us any problems.
There are two entrances off the street. One with a security intercom panel and stairs and the other requires a key, but leads to the elevator . Although the elevator entrance was a bit off-putting, the loft itself was exactly as expected from the description. We felt right at home and enjoyed the spaciousness of the living area. The weather turned cold but the heating system worked well, even in a large open space.
It was a bonus to have access to a laundry.
Other building residents we encountered were always pleasant and polite.
The nigh time views of Manhattan were stunning.
My sister, my mother and I stayed at Joshua's apartment for a few days and really enjoyed our stay. Not only that Joshua always replied very promptly to all my questions, but was also very flexible regarding our check in and check out times and made as feel very welcome in his very clean, spacious and nicely furnished home. The place is surrounded by nice cafes, bars and restaurants and the train to manhattan being just a stone's throw away makes it supereasy going there. We especially enjoyed the amazing view you have from every room (and of course the roof) of manhattan's skyline. Staying at joshua's place was the perfect new york experience.
My husband, our toddler, and I stayed for two nights to go to a wedding, along with our friend who took the second bedroom. We lived in Brooklyn for 15+ years and just moved away at the end of July, so we didn't need Josh's assistance orienting ourselves, but he was friendly and responsive, and would've helped if we'd needed it. The place was perfect for us--clean, uncluttered, and quite spacious for a NY apartment. Would definitely recommend to people with kids. Good location: there's a playground right there, bodegas and an ATM super-close, and lots of good restaurants nearby. This area still feels like the old Williamsburg, which is disappearing fast. Some people will find it charmingly gritty but others may prefer to stay in a condo on the yuppified northside.
Nice flat. Great location. Williamsburg is very Nice. Nice restaurants. Loved house of small wonder. Joshua was quick to answer any questions.
Williamsburg is a vibrant neighbourhood to stay in when you're visiting NYC - full of interesting, great bars, coffees and eateries. The spacious and clean apartment is located within 10 mins walking distance Williamsburg centre where all the shops/cafes are. The apartment is also located a few metres away from the train station that takes you into lower Manhattan so that was very convenient. Our host, Josh, was great with communication and very responsive which was very much appreciated.
There are a few things we need to note though which affected our stay - the apartment was well maintained and clean however the building was quite dirty in comparison. We also had to climb several flights of steps (it's located on the 5th floor) to get to the apartment. It was OK for us being a younger group but it may be difficult for older, less mobile guests. Fortunately there is a (service) lift you can use as well.
It does get quite hot in the apartment in the Summer. There is Air-con but only in 1 bedroom. The 2nd bedroom was sometimes verging on uncomfortable in the early mornings when it got too hot and could really benefit from an additional fan.
We really like Williamsburg and the apartment was a good base with most of the amenities you need to explore the area for a few nights.
Thanks for the note Jennifer. I just want to mention that the lift is available for guests use anytime of day. I'm sorry you walked! The AC unit does cool the entire loft when set properly and there are three fans for guests use as well. I wish you would have let me know that you were uncomfortable and I would have done whatever I could to help. Next time! Hope all is well!
Only the best,
We had a brilliant stay at Joshua's apartment. With it being our first time in NYC it soon became clear that the loft is in an excellent location - enabling us to see the delights of Brooklyn, but also extremely easy access to the city and Manhattan. I don't think we could have seen as much as we did if we stayed anywhere else. Thanks Josh
I stayed in at Josh's apartment for 3 nights in April and I couldn't have had a better Brooklyn experience. The apartment is spacious, clean, and so comfortable that we immediately felt at home. I think our favorite part, however, was accessing the rooftop deck every morning and night, with amazing views of the city, bridges, and buildings. Location of this place is perfect as well - extremely close to Marcy Station and within walking distance from some of the best restaurants and bars I have ever been to. Josh was incredibly nice and accommodating with our needs, and made himself readily available whenever we had questions. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in staying in Brooklyn.
