This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Our guesthouse is located in Vaudreuil just off of National Road One, in Cap Haitian This is a newly built home. We live in the U.S. and we stay at Lakay Grann when working in Cap. We rent it to like minded people who travel to Cap Haitian.

The space
Our guesthouse is located in Vaudreuil just off of National Road One, in Cap Haitian This is a newly built home. We live in the U.S. and we stay at Lakay Grann when working in Cap. We rent it to like minded people who travel to Cap Haitian.

Our home has three stories. The first floor has a master bedroom with a queen sized bed and an attached bathroom, a second bedroom with two twin beds, a second bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and large common area with a queen sized futon for extra sleeping. The second story has one master bedroom with a queen sized bed with an attached bathroom. The second story also two additional bedrooms and a second full bathroom. There a second kitchen with new appliances. The third story is a rooftop cabana with a great view and a nice place to relax at the end of the day. We have power 24/7 now with recent upgrades. WiFi is also now available.
Price is $75 per night for up to two people in one bedroom. Each additional bedroom is $50.

The entire house is available for rent in which case the entire home is accessible. There are occasions when the bedrooms are rented separately in which case the bedroom space is private and the common area shared.

There is a Haitian caretaker at the premises for the duration of your stay. He stays in an area outside of the house but on the property. He is present to allow you in and out of the property. A translator is available if needed at the renter's expense.

Lakay Grann is located across the street from Mama Baby Haiti, a birthing clinic. It is less than one-half block from National Road One where public transportation is available.

Tap-taps are accessible nearby. We also have the vehicles shown in the photos that are available to rent. We provide the drivers.

I live in Minneapolis, MN with my husband, Gymps Sunel. Gymps is Haitian and has extended family in Haiti. I have been teaching sewing to Haitian women for the past twelve year. We go to Haiti approximately four times per year. We built this house so that we would have a nice place to stay while in Haiti and so that we can share it with others who love Haiti and it's people as much as we do.
