Gabriel's house was really cool and clean and spacious. The apart's location is very good and near by San miguel market & famous restaurants. ( especially Botin and Los Galayos recomm.)
We gave permission late check out due to airplane shcedule and enjoyed Madrid full last. Thank you very much!! I recommend thin Apart strongly ^^
My family of 6 left this rental just this morning with regret. The old Convent home is simply wonderful! From the moment our cab pulled up we knew it was going to be a great time in Madrid. The Convent is on a very cool street that is VERY busy on the weekend and all but closed down on Monday morning. Once in the very old building it's difficult to understand what you will be walking into on the 3rd floor. The unit is stunning, efficient, comfortable, roomy and oh so great! My teens loved the twin room upstairs while the younger boys (13,5) enjoyed their loft space above the kitchen. The bathrooms are all state of the art and we always had plenty of warm water. The location is terrific. We walked to Plaza Mayor in about 7-10 minutes with ease and made our way around the city with zero hassle. The metro system worked great for us. Being from the States and having never travelled Europe I am so relieved we found this place. If you are looking (I did so much research before committing to rent this place) no need to keep doing so. Just book it and be ready to have your expectations met, ours certainly were.
Beautiful apartment in a great location!
Very well kept and lots of details.
Would love to come back!
Location, location, location AND a totally awesome apartment. Great style, well equipped and very clean. Many apartments have serviceable IKEA like furnishings but not this one. Gabriel was great on communication and two of his restaurant recommendations have become some of my kids most memorable meals in Europe after living here 2.5 years. Not the easiest location if you have a car but perfect location in every other respect - also unusually quiet for being in middle of lots of nightlife. Stay here!
We had a wonderful time in Madrid...and many thanks go to Gabriel. First off, we were greeted by Blanca. She showed us around the place.
This apartment was beautiful. We had 4 adults, 3 children and one infant....there was more than enough space. We loved the layout and location of the apartment.
Next time we come to Madrid, we will definitely be in touch with Gabriel again.
Blanca met us upon arrival and helped us with our luggage, gave us a thorough tour of the space and some advice about the neighborhood. She had stocked the fridge with a few breakfast items and a large bowl of fruit was on the table - a nice gesture for sure.
This is truly the "funkiest" loft we've stayed in in Spain. The location (1 block from the La Latina metro stop) was fantastic. Quaint street filled with fabulous restaurants and bars, friendly people, and very safe. Since the unit is on the backside of the convent we didn't have any street noise.
The space itself is very modern and well appointed. It was very clean and everything worked perfectly. The only downside was that there is really only 1 large bedroom (master suite). It is beautiful with high quality fixtures in the bathroom. There are two other loft rooms which are perfect for kids and teens. However, the low ceilings (It's a loft after all) and the mattresses on the floor aren't very comfortable for adults.
Again, perfect space for a family, but if you are 3 couples traveling together, you might not be happy in the loft space.
Fantastic apartment in a great neighbourhood. Beautiful renovation. Comfortable beds. Blanca was very helpful and accomodating. We appreciated very much the fruit bowl and staples there for us when we arrived.
