Deep clean lake with sandy beach and extensive docking. Volleyball court, firepit, basketball court, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, slide raft, water trampoline, swing set, boat slips, etc. Rocky Crest golf course is a 2 minute drive.
This is a perfect cottage for families and couples. Sorry, but we have a no pet and no Sea-doo policy. You can bring your own boat or boats can be rented from Gordon Bay Marina 5 minutes away, they will drop off and pick-up rental boats. Bed linens are supplied.
Cottage is rented weekly in the Summer for $1500. Check-in Saturday at 4pm, check-out following Saturday by 10am. Please contact us for off season rates.
During winter months you will find a snow shovel near the side door of the cottage. This is to be used for snow clearing near the doors and deck area during your stay if needed. Of course the roadways and drive are cleared for you.

Excessive Noise or Unruly Behaviour is Not Permitted at any time.
Quiet Time is 11:00pm to 8:00am.
Damages: In the event of any missing or damaged items, the renter/s will be charged to cover associated costs either through credit card on file or other agreed payment methods.
Responsibility: The person who registers to rent the cottage is automatically designated as the “person in charge" to take responsibility for their guests and any security problems or damages that might occur during your stay. This person must be 21years of age or older. Children under 16 are not to be left unsupervised.
Check In and Check Out: In July and August the check In time is 4:00pm and the check out time is 10:00am. Any check outs after that time will require full payment for an additional day. During off season and long weekends (other than summer) check in and out times may be more flexible.
Access: Occupant agrees the owner or agents of the property shall have access to the cottage upon reasonable notice.
Parking: ONE vehicle only is allowed in the designated parking spot for cottage #4. All other vehicles must park in the main lot.
Pets: NO pets belonging to tenants or guests are allowed at any time. Owners of cottages are allowed pets and we do have a small Cockapoo (non-allergenic dog) that has been in the cottage. Kennels are available in Parry Sound.
Smoking: Smoking IS NOT PERMITTED inside the cottage or outside near open doors and windows.
Household garbage All garbage must be removed from the cottage before you leave. Garbage is to be deposited in the garbage bin on the left as you exit the resort. If you choose to recycle, there are recycling bins at the Parry Sound Airport – go north on Lake Joseph Road and turn left at the stop sign on the way to hwy 400, exit 207 – the airport is on the right. Paper, cardboard in one bin - Plastic, bottles, cans, glass & metal in the other – no egg cartons, milk or waxed juice cartons. If you choose not to recycle just include these items with your household garbage.
BBQ: Inside the cottage above and to the left of the bathroom door you will find a rack with BBQ tools as well as keys to the BBQ should you need to change the BBQ tank. Please DO NOT share BBQ tanks with other cottagers. If they run out and require propane they will need to use the contact info they were provided.
Ant Traps: We have placed ant traps around the cottage as a preventative measure. If you have small children, please be aware of this and reposition for the period of your stay as necessary. Please keep all sugar, honey, and sweet items sealed as they attract ants very quickly.
Telephone: There is no telephone in the cottage. A pay phone is available 1 km south on Lake Joseph Road at the Hamer Bay Rd. store. Cell phones do work on the property.
Water and Septic Services: Our water treatment system includes chlorination, filtration, and UV sterilization, and exceeds all current health and environmental regulations.
Septic services are underground septic beds. These beds can be easily damaged through the disposal of non-liquid items (paper, cigarette butts, tampons, etc.) and grease. Holding tanks can also fill up quickly through the continual running of water and can result in toilet back ups and destruction of water pumps. Beds can be damaged by above ground loading such as cars and heavily packed snow caused by snowmobiles.
Beach: NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY AT ANY TIME. No glass allowed on the beach.
Water Trampoline: Only 2 allowed on trampoline at a time. Children under 14 must wear a lifejacket (insurance rules). DO NOT TAKE BOATS NEAR THE TRAMPOLINE OR SLIDE RAFT AT ANY TIME!
Glass: No glass is allowed off of deck area of any cottage. If bringing drinks please bring cans not bottles. **This rule is strictly enforced to keep the grounds safe for children.**
Remember- Keep such containers confined to the inside of the cottage and deck area.
Boats: Non-motorized watercrafts are available during warm months on a first come first served basis. Life jackets must be worn at all times on any watercraft and are available in the boathouse. The code for the boathouse is 2468.
Sorry, the Township of Seguin has banned the use of personal watercraft (ie. Sea Doos, Jet skis, Waverunners etc.) on Silver Lake effective January 1, 2010. Motorboats will be available for rent from Gordon Bay Marine, ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), John Miller (Store Manager), (EMAIL HIDDEN) (URL HIDDEN)
Loss or Theft: The owner is not responsible for damage or theft of the renter's personal property.
Inventory: An inventory of items in the cottage has been taken. The replacement cost of any items missing from the inventory will be charged to the signing renter. Each cottage is independently managed. Items found in the cottage must NOT be shared between cottages. Please be sure everything that was in cottage 4 on arrival is in cottage 4 on departure.
.Visitors: Overnight visitors are not permitted. All day visitors must register with cottage owner prior to arrival. Maximum 2 adults and 2 children per cottage. Registered guests are responsible for the safety and actions of their children & visitors.
Camping: Tents, trailers or any sort of camping is not permitted on the Silver Lake Cottages premises.
Eviction: Owners (including those of other cottages at Silver Lake Cottage Resort) or management have the right to ask renters and their guests to abide by these rules and to evict renters, if they do not comply. If you are evicted for failure to abide by the rules of this cottage or Silver Lake Cottage Resort, or for any other reason (such as being arrested during your contractual time at the resort) you will not be entitled to a refund. You will also be responsible for damages to the cottage or property caused by you or your guests.
