Cute place (and clean), easy access to transport, restaurants and shops. Super easy to get around and reach city center. Tasty Kurd place to eat just downstairs.

This place is in need of some serious upkeep. My wife sat on one of the stools and nearly fell because there were missing and loose bolts on the stool. A serious safety concern in my opinion. The shower was clogged, the kitchenware is cheap and sometimes dirty. Some of the windows and drawers need repair. I would not stay again. However, the location is great, amazing neighborhood, close to excellent local food and shops, barely any tourists.

Response from Sabine:
Hello, What would have been safer was to tell me at once that this stool had a problem, so that I could repair it as soon as possible. The repair lasted 2 minutes, and cost 2.50 euros. Of the four bolts of safety that hold the seat, two have disappeared! Security bolt that can not go alone. Merci

The apartment was ok, located quite close to the city center. However the apt. was not very clean, so we were quite disappointed.

Wonderful location. Just a short walk from the main rail and metro stations. A very diverse neighborhood which offers loads of food choices. Apartment is up 3 floors. Lower floor stairs slightly creaky and maybe a challenge with suitcases.

An excelent choice in Paris for couples! It´s a lovely, cozy, very private, quiet and comfortable apartment. Great bed, well equipped kitchen, good internet connection, a lot of TV channels to watch, amazing shower, all refurbished. We had an amazing time! The location is perfect: close to a very good metro line (2 metro stations from Gare du Nord), close to the bus stop that took us to Orly airport in the middle of the night (9 minutes walking distance), there are a lot of good options of bars, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets. Intense and interesting night life in the surroundings and as the apartment is in the back part of the building, it´s very quiet to sleep, don´t worry. It´s important to mention that it´s located at the third floor (narrow wooden old stairs). We´ve suffered a bit with my huge bag (my fault!!) but i was aware of the stairs. Also, during summer the apartment is veeery hot. There´s a fan available, but it´s not enough for the FREAKING HOT days we´ve got (38 degrees, no rain, no wind). Prior to our arrival, Sabine sent us detailed instructions, passwords and advised us where to go eat. She was a great host and when we come back to Paris, we will certainly stay chez Sabine once more! :)

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is a great, and a bit quirky. Lovely to have a lounge to relax in. The street it's on is a real mix of fancy boutiques and bars in with kebab shops and the like. It bustles. The 'front door', which had some graffiti on it (Paris does love graffiti), unexpectedly opens onto a tranquil passage lined with plants, and you leave the bustle behind. Then the actual front door leads up old wooden stairs to the third floor apartment. The stairs are quite narrow and three flights loses its charm after two, but that's hardly a quibble. The place itself is not huge, but bigger than you need. We were very comfortable. We checked in with Gina the cleaner who was charming. She didn't speak English, but my French was enough to go through everything. All very easy and very welcoming. The place even has WiFi. The location was great for us. We came on Eurostar which is about 15 minutes walk to the place. We even walked back from Sacre-Cour which only took about half an hour or more. Also having a few nearby Metro stations made life very easy. There are plenty of markets, shops and supermarkets nearby so you can make the most of having a kitchen and a fridge, even if it's to keep the Rosé cool.
