This home is in a scenic location.
A luxury pod with ensuite for 2 adults in our beautiful meadow. With sunset views, outdoor seating, bbq/hob, own parking & EVC. With a well equipped kitchen, full size oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, shower, comfy chairs, TV, wifi & standard double bed. A peaceful setting, direct access to footpaths, cycle routes & buses to Framlingham & local villages. A 4mins stroll to the village pub, 80mins walk/10mins drive to Framlingham Castle & 30mins drive to the coast. See also Waterpump Annex

The space
Set in the stunning Suffolk countryside Waterpump pod is beautiful, light and airy with french doors and small window above the bed. A voile curtain allows for privacy as well as shade from the sun and a thermal door curtain provides darkness and warmth. The pod is located in our meadow facing south across the fields with no light pollution allowing you to enjoy the stunning night skies. The views from the pod stretch down towards the River Alde, a small river that attracts plenty of wildlife, stoats, otters, barn owls and kingfishers plus much more. The pod has an ensuite shower room with thermostatic mixer shower, a comfortable standard double bed with 4 sumptuous pillows and seasonal duvet, towels and linens are also provided. The pod has a generously equipped kitchen with a full size electric oven, 2 ring Induction hob and large sink. A toaster and kettle plus some breakfast basics are also provided. Outside is a garden space with outdoor kitchen comprising of a standing height gas bbq with hob ring and grill. There are recliner wooden chairs and table for you to enjoy, storage space for bicycles, private bins/recycling area and outdoor storage box for muddy boots etc. The parking space comes with an electric vehicle charging point available through Monta.

Our home is set in approx 4 acres of land accessed down a private track, the driveway entrance to our property also benefits from security CCTV. Our home is separated from the meadow by outbuildings and a gate. Our Airbnb Waterpump Annex forms the first part of our cottage and has its own outside space set out of view from the pod. Through the gate into our meadow facing south you will find Waterpump Pod spaciously set out and sheltered by the hedge behind. Further along the track at the far end of the meadow and out of sight of the pod is our adults only 5 van CL site. The meadow is for all to enjoy and benefits from footpaths in 4 directions. The whole area enjoys peace and quiet being set so far away from the roads with no immediate neighbours.

Neighborhood highlights

The quiet Suffolk village of Badingham is situated on the tourist route of the A1120 with a pub, church and village hall. Set in the heart of the countryside it is the perfect location for a quiet break with plenty of places to visit nearby, both by car and on foot. Just a 10 minute drive or 1 hour 10 min walk across the fields is the historical market town of Framlingham with shops, restaurants, cafes and English Heritage Castle. A 30 minute drive will take you to the gorgeous Suffolk coastal towns and villages of Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich and Aldeburgh. Also half an hour away is the town of Woodbridge on the River Deben with shops, cinema and leisure centre. Our nearest railway station, just 20 minutes away is Wickham Market located in the village of Campsea Ashe with access to Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, The Norfolk Broads and London. There are so many places to visit, such as Snape Matings with its shops and concert hall, Minsmere RSPB, National Trust Site Sutton Hoo with recent publicity from the film The Dig, Stonham Barns and its Owl Sanctuary, Independent cinemas - our favourite and oldest in Leiston, The Long Shop Museum of steam also in Leiston, Adnams brewery with tours in Southwold and local vineyard Shawsgate.

Hi I am Sarah and I live in Badingham with my husband Dave. I work locally in a dental practice and Dave works at the local DIY store and is also a retained fireman in nearby Framlingham. We both love walking and travel, especially on our motorbike and in our camper van. Dave has lived in the area for the last 30 plus years, I have lived in various corners of England but moved to Suffolk 17 years ago and have no plans to move again.
