All we ask of our guests it to be nice (and also tidy!). We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our knowledge of this wonderful city, so that you can get the most from you stay. Treat our apartment and home like you would treat your own! :-) We do kindly ask that you would leave your shoes at the front door.
Eoin and Karolina were both very kind, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed stay at their house, which was clean, though bit packed with things. We had a bathroom (and sleeping room) just for ourselves, which was pleasant. We very much appreciated hand-drawn card with city landscape made by Karolina and two post cards with stamps. We also quite liked Dublin Secrets Vol.1&2, which is something like a travel guide written by Eoin and Karolina's guests. Wi-Fi was swift, neigbourhood nice, and Airlink Bus stop was very close. Perfect location and perfect hosts!
Eoin and Carolina are wonderful hosts and we really liked their lovely apartment. everything was clean and neat. Karolina is a lovely person and we enjoyed the few moments we spent with her husband when he returned from his business trip. The apartment is close to the tram in the riverfront, and also close to the university of Ireland.
Eoin and Karolina are just great.
They made us feel at home by welcoming us with a cup of tea and their kindness.
The airbnb to be if you are to spend a few days in Dublin.
Thank you very much
Our stay with Eoin and Karolina was a great way to start off our time in Ireland. When we arrived, we were greeted so nicely by Eoin, who showed us where to find the plethora of maps, resources, plug adapters, and even ponchos to use during our stay! They had really thought of everything. It was great to chat with them about Dublin, as well as get advice about our future travels to other countries. I would highly recommend staying with Eoin and Karolina - they are wonderful people who live in a great apartment! Thank you!
Eoin was very helpful when we arrived and the room is comfortable. The area is very safe and near lots of things to do. We would highly recommend them to future guests
Perfect stay at Eoin's and Karolina's house! We were made to feel very welcome by Eoin, who was a wealth of knowledge on where to go, what to eat etc.
The location and the room were fantastic!
The room and facilities were exactly as shown in the images.
Communication was superb. We really appreciated the welcome pack with great instructions on how to get there.
We couldn't recommend a place more in Dublin!
Over all our stay was OK, more of a "stay in your friends spare bedroom" than a BnB. Mismatched linen, picture frames stacked against wall, personal items in the bathroom. Apartment was also looking a bit tired: big stain on bedroom carpet and lots of marks on walls, rotten skirting boards in hallway.
Eoin and Karolina seemed friendly from what we saw of them, they were away 2 of the 4 nights we stayed which made it difficult when the light bulb blew in our room, with no other options for light - our mobile phone torches had to do.
This was not a negative experience, we just felt it lacked some care and attention to detail.
Lisa, thanks for your review.
It is disappointing to hear your experience was not up to the standard you expected. We appreciate all feedback from guests, however I feel that some of the points you raise are incorrect and a little unfair.
We always strive to offer more than is expected of a 'stay in a friends spare bedroom', particularly through the little extra touches we include such as the stamped postcards we left for you (and all our guests), the access you (and all our guests) have to the entire apartment and the knowledge we share to ensure you (and all our guests) have a wonderful stay in Dublin.
We provide fresh, clean and matching linen sets for all our guests, and the room is thoroughly cleaned and freshened before every arrival. Yes, there are some personal toiletries stored in the large guest bathroom, but these are kept in a bathroom cupboard so as not to intrude on our guests space. We also leave toiletries out for our guests use. There are no rotten skirting boards in the hallway; we certainly maintain a higher standard of living ourselves than to keep our apartment like that.
We were also disappointed to hear that you had an issue with the lighting in your room while we were not at home. This was not due to a bulb blowing, but only that you had switched off the light at the mains. We had mentioned when you arrived that we were available on the phone at all times, so its a shame you didn't contact us when you were having this issue. We could have remedied it immediately by explaining what you had done. We will make sure to mention it to future guests to avoid the same problem.
It was lovely to meet you and Ryan, and to chat and get to know you both. All the best for the future.
