Fantastic quayside walks along the River Liffey are just a stone's throw away. Getting to the apartment couldn't be easier, with easy travel options to get to / from airport / train / bus stations (each within a 15 / 20 minute travelling time). The city's main tram service stops right outside the apartment. There is also a Dublin Bikes station 3minutes away, which means you can enjoy the city from a whole new perspective.
I had a very nice time at their flat. Karolina greeted us with tea and coffee and showed us a map with great advice on what to do while in the city. We would recommend this listing to anyone visiting Dublin!
Eoin and Karolina were the perfect hosts!
Eoin and I communicated multiple times via email before our arrival, so we knew exactly what to expect. We arrived a little later than anticipated and quite exhausted, and they were quick to get us settled in and comfortable over a cup of tea.
We're big food and drink people, and Eoin and Karolina both provided us with great recommendations on where to find the best restaurants and bars in town, as well as a great local spot for music that was off the beaten tourist path.
The guest room is the perfect size for a place to crash in the evenings, though Americans may find it a bit on the small side. We didn't take too much advantage of it, but Eoin and Karolina made it clear that we had the run of the living room and kitchen facilities, and complete instructions for usage were provided ahead of our stay.
The neighborhood around the flat is more business focused than residential so you'll have to venture out a bit to get to major attractions, but nothing is more than a quick 10 minute walk (or quick cab or transit ride) away. The area is well lit and safe.
We could not have been more pleased with our time staying with Eoin and Karolina. You'd be hard pressed to find better hosts in all of Dublin!
Eoin and Karolina were great hosts and so welcoming. As busy students, we didn't have a lot of time to plan our trip, but they had tons of materials and were more than willing to make recommendations and give advice. If you want a cozy and inviting home base while you're in Dublin, theirs is definitely the place. :)
First time in Dublin, first time using airbnb. This couldnt be better. The bus from airport leaves you very close to the aparment, and is at walking distance from everthing (except maybe guinness factory). The apartment is spectacular with a great view into a back garden. Eoin and Karolina are superb hosts, I'm so sorry that I got sick and cannot stayed with them more.
This was our first experience with Airbnb, and it honestly could not have gone any better. Eoin and Karolina are so welcoming and kind, full of fun tips and ideas of what to do in Dublin. Their flat is absolutely stunning, and perfectly located for accessing the city. They were super easy about our timings, and great to have a chat with. Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks Eoin and Karolina!
It was very nice to stay by you two. It's a little very clean room with a bathroom.
Very friendly host! Thanks Eoin and Karolina
I had a really nice and very good stay in the house of Eoin and Karolina. I was there for a conference and had a lot of work. So I enjoyed the quiet room and my own bathroom. The House is very well located. I walked all my ways and that was really nice.
I enjoyed my stay!
Eoin & Karolina we exceptional hosts! Their 2 bedroom apartment is set up perfectly to allow me and my husband to come and go as we pleased without disturbing them. When we wanted to be social, we were able to head upstairs and chat and drink tea which was great! They are relaxed and comfortable hosts, and were full of great suggestions of places to go and see. They are easy to talk to, and are always up for conversation, but are also willing to let you do your own thing.
The bed was comfortable with 4 pillows, and on either side of the bed are two night stands. There is a closet, though I didn't look in to see if we could use it. We just lived out of the suitcase. On the media stand near the bed there is a basket with a bunch of pamphlets and other guides for the area. This was extremely helpful and thoughtful as we didn't really have a plan when we got there. There is a bathroom in the hall for guest use. It was clean, and they provided each of us a towel to use while we were there. The water was hot, and the water pressure was really good! We didn't take long showers though because the water heater is on a timer, and we didn't want to use it all. Upstairs they have a small refrigerator which they were willing to make space in if we needed it, and they were more than willing to share their tea and coffee.
The apartment is in a great location to walk to the bus stop or down into Temple Bar. The only downside is that it is in the middle of the Financial District, so on the weekends, it's a little bit hard to find food close. We did have a little trouble finding the apartment on the first day though, and because we came from the U.S., we didn't have our phones to use as a map. My suggestion is to (website hidden) map it out and bring that with you. Though, if you get lost, you can always call Eoin, and he will help you find it!
If you are looking for a place to stay, consider this location above all else! You won't regret it!!
Eoin and Karolina's apartment was a perfect stay for my friend and I. Not only did Eoin give us amazing tips for food and sights, he also made us feel like we were at home instantly. The.apartment os gorgeous and in a great location. We walked everywhere, (took a cab home back late one night) and were more than plesed with the experience. Thanks Eoin and Karolina!!
