  • Everything was all right. The studio is spacious indeed, enough for two people. Going to Manhattan is really convenient with the A train. There's a lot of grocery stores nearby and Jessie and his wife took great care of us. It was a really great stay. Have fun!

  • A lovely little room with a nice bathroom, just met our needs for the stay, very clean and inviting. Recommended. Downsides were shower flow and noisy heat pipes. Also some difficulty in communication before we arrived.

Location is good for travel to the city (A,C trains) but harder to get around Brooklyn, as those lines don't connect to the important stations. There are grocery stores and delis close by.

  • I really enjoyed my stay in Brooklyn, I found the locals and neighbours to be really friendly and welcoming. The apartment was secure and had everything I needed, it also kept me nice and warm when it was getting considerably cooler in nyc. The pipes were rather noisy at times but im not a light sleeper! The subway line ran local and express trains which was really handy, it was easy to get to and from jfk airport, a neighbour even informed me of some buses that ran straight to the airport that I wasn't aware of. Brooklyn itself has some really interesting neighbourhoods and I found much better (and cheaper!) restaurants there than in Manhattan. My first time in nyc made me keen to return again in the summer.

    Thanks Keith and Anita.

  • I stayed at Anita's place literally few days ago. I stayed there with my girlfriend and it was a great experience for us. The place was very nice and everything was great. The bed was comfy and it had soothing sheets. The only concern I had was the showers, the water ran a little slow, but nothing to worry much about. The bathroom itself looked really nice and for the price, it was the best decision we ever made. The room also has a kitchen, so you can buy food at groceries (located 2 mins away) and cook if you're looking to save some money on food!

The location was okay, the area seemed a little scary at night, but the solution to that is to GO HOME EARLY! NO LATE PARTYING! lol
The room is very close to the station, and it was convenient to go into "the city"!

I really enjoyed my stay here, and thanks to Anita and her reasonable accommodation price, I had more money I could spend on shopping!

Would like to stay here again if I had the chance
