Everything was perfect! I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you very much!
Wow, we loved our visit with Anita so much that we are contemplating returning in August and September for a two week vacation. Anita's casa is set on the hillside with a glorious view of the Central Pacific. Her guesthouse reminded me of places I have stayed growing up when on vacation or at camp. Anita gave us great suggestions for our visit, including getting to and from the beach, and where best to eat. Also you get to meet other visitors from around the world. Manuel Antonio is a must-see in Costa Rica, a very special place.
I loved my stay at Casa Buena Vista. Anita is a great host and a delightful person. The beach is lovely for swimming and relaxing, away from the Manuel Antonio, but a short walk from them if you want little touristy vibe. I was doing a bit of laptop work from the B&B in the mornings and it was a perfect environment to do this. The falafel place at the top of the hill is excellent if you like Israeli food.
Anita was a very welcoming host who made us feel right at home. Her place is ideally situated in Manuel Antonio making it very easy to get around town or just enjoy the view. It was quite busy while we were there, but Anita still took time to chat with us each morning and give us advice on dining and sightseeing. Her place cannot be beat for location and we would definitely stay again. Thanks.
Anita is very kind and her place has an amazing view, and comes with monkeys! We really enjoyed our stay, and breakfast was delicious. Great value! Thanks Anita!
Great view on the bay of NP Manuel Antonio from the breakfast room. Anita was a great and very friendly hosts and had some good hints for us.
We stayed in the teak house which we mainly had to ourselves. We liked staying on the huge outdoor common area and watching the animals (especially monkeys and birds) in the trees infront of us. Breakfast with eggs, toast, cake and fruits was very good and the view from the breakfast room is certainly amazing.
We never saw Anita during our stay, so we cannot comment on her as a host. But the woman who did breakfast and checked us in was very friendly.
I did spent a fantastic time at Casa Buena Vista. Anita is a wonderful and more than helpful hostess. Also Nuria is always ready to help with any kind of your questions. I loved the breakfasts and the location is just perfect…. you are not too far away from the beach, but also far enough to get away from the crowds, if you want. It is also a perfect place for single travelers to find travel company, if you want….We did found the Casa Buena Vista Travel Club and did a lot of excursions together… and we had a blast!! Coming back to Costa Rica Casa Buena Vista would definitely be my first destination… thanks a lot.
nice spot, great view on the bay. stay on the balcony of the teakhouse for a while and you will see huge different groups of monkeys passing by! much more wild than in the national parks and without a guide... also everything you need is in walking distance: the beach, emilios cafe, the bus, ...
Anita was a fantastic host! She has a beautiful view from her house, which is above our secluded house below hers. Her wonderful housekeeper makes eggs to order in the morning and keeps everything cleaned up. There were howler monkeys all around. The beach is a 15 minute walk but is a steep hill so I would take a cheap bus back up to the top. We had a shared living space and the other guests were great so we had a blast. I'm sure to be back!
