Guest Access

Pangrati or Pagrati (Greek: Παγκράτι) is a neighborhood in the Municipality of Athens, Greece. It is bordered by the Kolonaki (Κολωνάκι) neighborhood to the north, the Kaisariani (Καισαριανή) Municipality to the east, the Vyronas (Βύρωνας) Municipality to the south, and the Mets (Μετς) neighborhood to the west. It is not to be confused as a separate suburb, as it is part of the Athens city proper. However, it is frequently mistaken as such, possibly because of it bordering the actual suburbs of Vyronas and Kaisariani. One of the most important landmarks of Pangrati is the Panathinaiko Stadium that hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. The First Cemetery of Athens, the official cemetery for the city of Athens, lies within Pangrati.

  • We had a lovely stay in Athens. Leo and his family are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is clean and located in a nice neighbourhood. We had a great time there. :)

  • This is a great deal! The apartment has enough room for 5 to sleep and move around. We didn't meet Leandros but his father checked us in and gave us a simple run through of the apartment. The apartment is not located right near the popular sites but cab rides to almost everything in the city from the apartment are super cheap and convenient. Taking cabs to and from the apartment is the most efficient for your money and your time. The beds aren't the most comfortable thing in the world but for the price I have no complaints!

  • Suburb Service! The apartment is spacious and very clean! Leandros and his father were amazing hosts! We could not have asked for a better stay.

  • Nice flat, nice location, Great price!

  • The Pangrati apartment is simply a fabulous place from which to explore Athens.

  • Perfect!!

    January 2014
  • Leandro's place is "home" for us! It's the second time we stay and we feel like our home. The hospitality, the location, the care of his parents who live next door, the same appt. are the best we could find in Athens.
We'll stay again, if it's available, any time we'll visit Athens, again.
    Thanks a lot Leandros.

About
I was born in Athens and lived there until I was 25. I now live on the beautiful island of Andros, a near- by island that was my vacation spot until 2004, when I decided that this was where I wanted to live permanently, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. During the summer months I work in a local hotel as this is one of the best ways to meet people, especially travellers... and who knows, maybe we will meet at some point in time... I also love travelling, meeting new people, learning new cultures - and just seeing as much of the world as I can. As a traveller myself, I know what it means to have good accommodation, friendly hosts and good information. So with this in mind I hope that I can fullfill all these requirements and ensure that your stay in Athens will be as you expecteded. It will be my pleasure to do whatever I can to meet all your needs so that you return home with the best memories.
