The Space

Park slope is one of Brooklyn's top neighborhoods. There is easy access by subway to all of Manhattan, and Prospect Park is only one block away. This apartment easily accommodates three or four people, has a full kitchen and bathroom. The day bed in the living room can be used during the day as a sofa, or combined into a king for sleeping at night. High ceilings and sunlight make this a nice quiet place to wake up before taking in the city. There is a queen size bed with premium mattress and ample room in the bedroom.

The F and G train are a 5 minute walk away, and the 2,3,Q,B trains are about 12 minutes. There are numerous restaurants and shops all within minutes of walking.

Park slope is fortunate to have one of New York's top open spaces, Prospect Park. There are over 3 miles of easy running and biking paths, and more green space and trees than you can imagine. Think central park but less crowded!

This apartment is a nice property in a well maintained building. It is full of quiet professionals, and is a great place to come home to after a night out. By taxi, it is only about 20 min from midtown and downtown, so is very convenient for both Brooklyn and Manhattan, but set in a very charming stately neighborhood in its own right.

  • This was our first airbnb experience and it certainly won't be our last! Our family of 3 stayed at Jason's apt for 10 nights and we loved the homely apt, the beautiful surburb of Park Slope and the close proximity to a number of subway stations as well as shops, cafes and grocery stores on 7th avenue. The apt was clean and spacious and kitchen well equipped. We always looked forward to going 'home' to our warm apt and comfortable beds after a hectic day of sightseeing and shopping! On a few nights we returned home on the subway well past midnight but we always felt safe walking the family oriented surburb. Even though I didn't get to meet jason in person he always responded to my queries and followed up to see if we needed any assistance after our first night! What a caring host! I highly recommend Jason's apt and rate our stay 10 out of 10! Thx Jason for a memorable stay!

  • I had a great experience renting Jason's apartment for my mom and brother who were in town! Jason was extremely quick to get back to all my questions (and I asked a lot!). He was also very flexible and accommodating - he seemed to do everything he could to work with our unique schedule.

My mom said the master bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet (very little street noise). There is also a daybed and roll-out trundle bed in the living room. The trundle was a great option for my brother who is very tall (6-foot-4) and needed space to stretch his legs. Much better than the usual futon option at many other rentals.

The location couldn't have been better - it's a very quiet and beautiful street in Park Slope that's close to groceries & restaurants & the park and near several subway lines. The building is very quiet (and the apartment itself was quiet, shielded from the street).

I will definitely be contacting Jason next time my family comes to visit - the apartment is perfect for what we needed and Jason was a pleasure to work with. i highly recommend it!

  • We had a great stay at Jason's.
First, we arrived a bit late (9:30pm) because of our flight arrival time, and he managed it to make it flexible and easy for us to get he keys only 2 blocks away from the flat.

The neighborhood is really nice between prospect park and the 7th and 5th ave where most of the restaurants, bars and stores are.
Transportantion is easy to manhattan, and streets are quiet (for those who may want to sleep in one day.
    Really nice neighborhood :)

Communication with Jason was really easy (by phone/sms in our case), and he responded very quickly and answered our questions/doubts.

My brother decided to join us for 1 night last minute, and Jason was very understanding and flexible about it :)

Our flight out of NY was in the evening, but he was flexible to let us leave our luggage until late afternoon at the flat, despite a checkout time at mid-day. He was at the flat at the time agreed to get our luggage befoer taking our flight (even a bit earlier).

Jason, the flat and the neighborhood were great :)
Would come back, no doubt :)

  • Jason was a great host. He was extremely easy to get ahold of and promptly answered my questions. His place is super clean, beautiful and spacious. The neighbourhood is extremely safe and has great restaurants within walking distance.

I definitely would stay here again!
