Dishes, pots and pans are all easily found in the cupboards. Please don’t use metal utensils in the pans and coated pots as they will scratch – wooden spoons are available in pot in the kitchen counter.
Please make sure the fridge and deep-¬‐freezer doors shut tight, sometimes they can spring back.

The vacuum cleaner is in the shared hallway downstairs. We share it with the neighbours. You can find it in the left cupboard that has a key inside.

In Amsterdam we collect glass, paper and plastic in separate bags. Glass and paper is thrown in designated bins across from the skinny bridge on the left. Plastic is further away. You can put this on one of the terraces, we will discard of this later. The rest of the garbage can be thrown away in the bin. Black garbage bags are found in the drawer underneath the stove. Full garbage bags can be put outside on the street on Tuesday and Friday early morning. The city cleaners will collect them.
We have arranged for a cleaner, but would appreciate it if you could leave the apartment in the state in which you found it when you arrived.
MailThe small key of the set that is on the table is for the mailbox. Please empty the mailbox every other day or so. It is located in the hallway downstairs. The one belonging to this apartment is the bottom one.
CatThe white cat with (website hidden) called Bram. He lives mainly outside. If you can feed him a can of food in the evening on a small dish outside that would be great. Also a handful of dry food inside (otherwise the birds eat it) everyday please. In winter please make sure that is a small bowl of water inside for him too. Just inside the room annexing the terrace, close to the cat flap.

Nous avons aimé notre séjour.
This apartment was amazing. Right on top of Rembrandtplein square where a lot of bars and restaurants are. The property was perfect for me and three friends, with two bedrooms and two terrace it was more then enough space. Aafke was very helpfull with any questions we had before going to amsterdam.
All in all great appartment! This is a must if you are considering a holiday to Amsterdam!
Aafke was very responsive, friendly and attentive. We stayed at her apartment for approximately a week and she periodically contacted me to make sure my stay was going well and that we did not need anything. The two bedroom apartment is spacious and clean, with ample common room space. It has a full kitchen (although a tiny fridge), a large living room, two bedrooms and a split bathroom. Everything is in working order. It is approximately a 50 minute bus (or train + tram) ride from the airport and is also located in a very cute area of Amsterdam. It is on a (non-sketchy) side street, so you don't have vehicle traffic outside.
Aafke was very kind. My group included a 31 week pregnant friend and we happened to be visiting Amsterdam during a heat wave. We asked Aafke if she happened to have a fan, and she instructed us to look in a storage area and said if we did not find one, we could purchase one and she would reimburse us. The entire stay was made more pleasant by Aafke's exemplary hospitality and the great condition of her home. In addition, Aafke was responsive to emails even though she herself was out of the country on vacation at the time. Highly recommended.
Perfect location, lots of space, and great lighting. I really enjoyed using this apartment. The shower sprayed out onto the floor, so we used the bathtub. Overall a great experience.
A really nice and spacious flat in an excellent location. Walking distance to most Amsterdam sights, but located on a quiet and peaceful side street. Some great restaurants, shops, nice pubs and cafes are all around the corner. Aafke made sure we had everything we needed, communication was quick and friendly throughout. Highly recommended!
Aafke was an amazing host. Her apartment is in a great location, next to one of my favorite Indonesian restaurants. It is very spacious and tranquil. Aafke also took the time to greet us, make sure we had everything we needed, including loaning us some spare travel converters and iphone chargers. Highly recommended.
