The Space

Spacious and clean two bedroom,two bathroom flat to rent. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite and there is a small balcony leading on from the living room. The flat is fully furnished flat. The two double bedrooms are situated on the second floor of a modern building and can comfortably cater for 4 people. There is a bathroom with bath and shower facilities aswell as an ensuite shower room to the main bedroom. The living space is open pladinging a separate kitchen. The facilities are well equipped and adequate for major cooking or just a quick breakfast. The dining table sits 6. All modern conveniences are also available for use, including washing machine and microwave.

The flat is situated in the heart of Stevenage old town, on the main High Street. So just a minutes walk are choices of pubs and bars, restaurants, coffee shops, beauticians, hairdressers and a selection of shops. A 5 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to the new town with a selection of supermarkets, clothes shops and bargain stores if you have any further needs. However the real benefit of our home is the close proximity to London.

A ten minute walk to the train station or 2 minute taxi journey and you can hop on a direct train into London Kings Cross or alternatively to Cambridge, York, or Leeds to name but a few.

Luton airport is a 25 minute drive away, buses and taxi's are available into Stevenage. Alternatively we are accessible by trains from London Heathrow and Gatwick although you will require more travelling time.

Bills and Wi-Fi included. Bed linen and towels as well as the kitchen equipment are also provided.

We do not have children but they are more than welcome so long as they too respect our home. Unfortunately we do have a no pet and no smoking policy in the flat.

  • Kerry's communication was great and she made arrival and departure easy. The flat is lovely, it has everything you might need, and is an easy 5 minute walk from regular trains up to London. Kerry was both friendly and helpful, and we felt confident that she would have sorted out any problems we might have had (but we didn't have any!)

Conveniently located near the town centre with good transport links into London Kings Cross (30mins), this was perfect for our stay.A beautiful flat which we will most definitely stay in again.

  • My husband, son(2 yr old) and I needed to be in Stevenage for my work for ~3 weeks. Kerry was so easy to deal with and the apartment was wonderful and in a great location. It was an easy 10 min walk to the train station, Tesco or the old town of Stevenage for takeaway meals. My 2 yr old loved watching the trains go by from the dining table and we enjoyed being able to cook and eat as we would at home. Having a washer/dryer was also extremely useful and kept us all in clean clothes while we were there. The location was also convenient to the Leisure Park which had an indoor playplace that was terrific for my son and husband when the weather outside was too cold or wet. Unexpectedly we had to stay an additional week and Kerry was very accomodating on late notice.

  • We stayed at this apartment for a month and enjoyed touring England for a month, using this apartment as a home base. There is no elevator, which made taking our stroller up and down the stairs a bit of a challenge, but the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was also naturally warm - we never had to turn the heat on during the month of October. Kerry was very friendly and even helped us get our luggage back to the train station at the end of our stay.
