Inspired by the desire of adventure, this Geodesic Dome rests on our 7-acre farm among beautiful forests, trails and streams. Bike, paddle, hike, fish and stargaze from the magnificent deck.

The space
The dome invites you to explore the Appalachian foothills and its surroundings, lakes, rivers and towns. Enjoy a true glamping experience, private bathroom, a bathtub, and a fantastic outdoor shower.

The Argentine Geodesic Dome is a harmonious blend of camping and the comforts of home. The luxurious beds are perfect for sleeping in and resting. The bathroom, shower, and tub are the perfect addition to a magical glamping experience.

Please note that the Geodesic Dome is basically a large tent. During the summer, it gets warm inside the dome during the day (while you're out exploring!) and cools off nicely during the night.

The cowboy kitchen includes pots, pans, silverware, coleman cooktop, charcoal grill, paper towels, plates, cups, lighter/matches, coffee maker, and toaster. The perfect setup to cook a meal in the great outdoors.

What we provide:
charcoal
lighter fluid
a bundle of firewood
ingredients for s'mores
farm fresh eggs (thank you hens!)
a couple bottles of water
towels
soap/shampoo
coffee/sugar/tea basics
olive oil

Guest access
You are welcome to visit our small farm for a guaranteed fun time and laugh with our Great Pyrenees, three goats, and chickens. Downtown Ellijay is about 15 minutes away. Carter's Lake is 5 minutes away.

Other things to note
Please note that the 12% required lodging tax has been included in the published nightly rate.

Carter's Lake is 5 minutes away. It's beautiful, pristine, lightly trafficked.

Downtown Ellijay is 15 minutes away. It's a must-visit, mountain town: antique shops, wine bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours.

Hiking trails are nearby but requiring driving to them. Some trails are 15 minutes away, some are an hour away. All are worth exploring, it just depends on your preference.

I started my career as an elementary school teacher. I taught the little ones for four years, and now I work at Engelheim Vineyards and manage our rental properties and small farm. My husband, Wesley, is a Golf Professional at The Farm near Dalton. Living in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, we very much enjoy exploring the great outdoors, whether we are hiking on a remote trail or enjoying the quiet and peace on our back porch. We enjoy great company, tasty and unique food, a glass of fine wine, and travels across the world. I am quite an animal lover, as our property includes a small farm that homes two dogs, five goats, four cats, and 17 chickens. To read more about our glamping getaways, visit North Georgia Glamping.

During your stay
When possible, we like to welcome our guests to the property. If desired, we introduce our guests to the small farm which includes Max (the infamous Great Pyrenees, aka Polar Bear), three goats, and some chickens. We want our guests to get settled in, feel at home, and feel welcomed. We are always available by phone.
We very much respect the privacy of our guests. Just let us know what you'd prefer for your experience.
