The cottage is lovely - very private and cute. I particularly enjoyed the pretty bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The garden you walk through to get to the cottage is also beautiful. I would stay here again. Location is fantastic if you are going to Stanford, which I was. Was nice to be able to check in on my own since I was arriving late, and not need to have an orientation from the host, since the info inside the cottage is quite complete.
Place is as beautiful and immaculate as it looks in photos. Very private. Close to Stanford. I loved it and will definitely return!!
The cottage was perfect! Sruthi was a great host--I couldn't ask for anything more--the cottage was clean and well-stocked with toiletries, kitchen utensils etc. The side entrance made it very easy to get in/out of the cottage and, it is conveniently located near downtown Palo Alto and the Caltrain station. Sruthi also is great about replying immediately to any questions/requests you may have. Ultimately, if you are looking for a place to stay in Palo Alto, I highly recommend staying here!
This gorgeous little cottage had all that I needed for my stay, and a helpful guest book with information about the area. It was close to a bus stop, making it easy to get to Stanford and Palo Alto downtown. Thank you Sruthi!
This was a great studio cottage right across the street from Stanford, and I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others. The property is beautiful, including walking to the cottage through a gate covered with beautiful roses (at least in May). Very quaint and relaxing. It is worth knowing that although Airbnb notes it has "Free Parking on Premises" the parking available is actually street parking. I was concerned about this because I knew I would be getting back late both nights, so I was worried the street would be full, but at 11pm and 10pm during my stay I was able to park directly in front of the house, so it was not a problem. Also worth mentioning for others is that the hot water ran out at the end of my shower and I had to hurry to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. Not a major problem, especially since my long, thick hair means I probably take longer showers than the average person, but just a heads up for other visitors. But those two items are just tips for people who will stay here. I would still absolutely recommend it as a nice, quiet getaway when you are in Palo Alto.
This is in a very cute neighborhood convenient to Stanford. I also found it not too far of a walk to downtown Palo Alto and the train station. The cottage is comfortable and clean and felt like home. The wireless worked fine and the fresh cut flower was a nice touch. If I find myself needing to go to Stanford again I will definitely see if this is available.
