The Cattle Valley Lodge has something to offer every family member. 2 spacious bedrooms with a king bed & 2 queens. Sofa pull out bed, air mattress & cots for extra sleeping areas.

Open kitchen/dining/living room provides an awesome space to entertain your family & friends. Large dining table & unique pub style barrel table w/tractor seat stools.

The space
The Cattle Valley Lodge has a little something for everyone. Open concept for entertaining, high vaulted ceilings, arcade room with Ms. Pac-Man, NBA Jam, Golden Tee Golf, Street Fighter 2, darts and foosball. Board games and other video game options available as well. Hot tub right off the house on patio and open year round. Fire pit and view of the valley offers ultimate relaxation when needed. 4 beds sleep up to 8. Additional air mattress is available, along with 2 folding cots with mattresses. Yard is plenty big to enjoy outdoor games if you would like to bring your own.

Pets are welcome. No cleaning fee!

Close to the village of Coon Valley, WI. Gas station and small market in town for essentials. Bars, restaurants and shops in town to enjoy as well.

Shampoo and soap included for guests. Toilet paper and paper towel will be supplied as well. First aid kit in bathroom closet. Charcoal grill is available to use outside.

Just outside the village of Coon Valley, WI. Small town with a lot of charm. Local bars, restaurants and shops offer plenty to experience during your stay. About a 20 minute drive to La Crosse, WI. 4 miles to Norskedalen Nature & Heritage Center. About 5 miles to Branches Winery and just under 9 miles to Westby, WI.

Per the town website: Coon Valley is located in the heart of the Driftless area, an area never touched by glaciers. This unique characteristic has produced a beautiful area of rolling hills and spring fed trout streams. Coon Creek, which is known for its excellent fishing, borders Coon Valley Park and provides a wonderful place to picnic, hike and enjoy time with friends and family.

Coon Valley offers unique shops and wonderful restaurants and numerous places to explore and enjoy! Coon Valley Elementary School is located right in the Village. There are also churches, numerous organizations, a bike trail, and so much to see and do.

I’m Chance. I grew up in Lake Mills, WI and went to school at UW Eau Claire where Tina and I met. We now live on the south side of La Crosse since 2019. We love the area and are happy to share the Driftless Region with you all via our cottage, lodge and schoolhouse! Enjoy!
