The residence has private access to the white sandy beach and it's only 500m from Hua Hin city center so stroll, jump or skip on to the beach and in to town! Arguably the best location in town for a beach side apartment as it's surrounded by Cape Nidhra Boutique Hotel and (former) Marriott hotel on each side.
Across the road is (in my and most locals' view) the best European supermarket ("Villa") in Hua Hin. The Market Village shopping center with cinema, restaurants and shopping is a 5-10 min. walk away. The property is also just across the road from the local night market where you'll find everything from food and drinks, copied DVDs, clothes, massage etc. The Grand Thaiboxing stadium with it's weekly fight nights is also across the road. My personal (and most locals') favourite is the charcoal BBQ and papaya salad stand on the curb across the road. It opens in the evening and is very popular with both Thais and others.
Tastefully decorated 115 sqm top level (4th floor) corner apartment, floor to ceiling windows in the open plan dining and living area plus a private balcony. 2 large bedrooms, master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom. Second bedroom has two single beds and bathroom adjacent to the room. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people (including sofa bed).
The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen with 4-plate hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle etc. Other facilities include Wi-Fi broadband Internet (approx. 65 Mbit), 5 air-conditioners, satellite TV (western channels can be arranged) on 32' LCD TV, DVD player with a collection of films, remote controlled CD and Radio unit.
It's our home away from home and we love being here as it has everything we want in a relaxing and safe location where the staff is really friendly and helpful and you don't need to dress up just to leave your room.
Building facilities include 24 security, concierge, laundry service, and other service staff (20+ full time employees), 3 large swimming pools, beautifully tended gardens, fully equipped fitness center, kids playroom, 2 Scandinavian imported saunas, public use computers, business center and underground secure parking.
The cleaning fee includes cleaning before check-in and after check-out, laundry of towels and bed linen etc. Check-in / -out process managed by European owned property company who also works as a point of contact during your stay should you need information about hospitals (2-300m away), golf courses, airport pick-up etc.
Price excludes electricity and water (meters are read at check-in and check-out done by property agency so no work for you). Standard usage for 1 week and 4 people is approx. (phone number hidden) Thai baht. Please note that this is a guideline only and your usage depends on how much you use the 5 air-conditions etc. Also please note that wireless broadband access codes are available at reception for 600 baht/month.
Min. stay is 7 days.

Guests who require check ins/outs out of office hours shall incur a surcharge of 500 THB. After hours check in/out takes place at the property managers office located about 300-400 meters from the property.
Guests who require check ins/outs out of office hours must inform us in advance (minimum 48 hours before arrival/departure).
THERE ARE NO CHECK INS/OUTS FROM MONDAY TILL SUNDAY BETWEEN 22:00 AND 06:00 O’CLOCK.
We had a wonderful time at Johns place. The apartment and the swimming pool were nice. And since it wasn't that busy we almost had the beach to ourselves. We arranged a cot at the complex, but we wouldn't recommend it because ours unfortunately was not suitable to sleep on.
We really enjoyed our stay here-the apartment is spacious and really nice, the beds are comfortable and it had everything we needed.
The location of the place is really good-we spent most of our days around the pool area and lunch on the beach restaurant close by- if we wanted more of a break from the sun in the middle of the day we either walked (10min) or took the songtaow (10 baht pick up 'bus') over to the mall Market Village and tried different dishes from the popular food market! We had one day of rain and that day we also spent at the mall, shopping and playing basketball on the top floor game center-very appreciated by our 12-year old ;)
In Market Village there is a large Tesco Lotus and since we had breakfast at home everyday that's where we shopped for groceries, great big store!
Just across the street from the apartment there was a night market (not on tuesdays though) and a couple of restaurants. Cute and nice if you don't want to go far. There is also a thai boxing arena with shows 1-2 times/week. The big night market is just a few minutes away with songtaow. Sometimes we used a tuk tuk to get around and the price was usually 150baht.
Don't miss the Cicada market if you have fri-sun in Hua Hin! It was really lovely and wonderful, a bit different from the usual marketscene but also on the other side of the road a smaller more 'traditional thai' market area with great food and live music!
We really liked the condo, loved the pool and beach area and the location could not have been better! If we would go back to HH we would definatly return to here!
Fabulous apartment opposite the beach at the back and the night market at the front. We had everything we needed to have the perfect family holiday. Amazing street food just opposite the apartments and gorgeous beach restaurant 5 mins away. Totally loved Hua Hin, the apartment and setting - just wish I was still there!

We are a family of 5, with three children aged between 4-13 years. The apartment and facilities, and it's location, worked really well for us.
The apartment was superbly located, well fitted out and equipped, and central to all amenities required. The beds were really comfortable and the air con a great relief in the heat of Thailand's summer.
The condominium's facilities were great, especially the pool and water slide, and the staff were fantastic. Kids loved the pony and banana boat rides on the beach too - but it was the pool that won out every day. We loved this place so much we already want to go back, and the kids simply didn't want to leave!
The additional charge for water and power was around three hundred baht per day for our family, which we thought was really reasonable especially given how much we enjoyed the air con!
John and his property managers were exceptionally easy to deal with, from the initial booking right through until the end of our stay.
Highly recommend this apartment and host.

Agree with previous posters that this place ticks all the boxes - nice spacious condo with very comfortable beds (not that common in Thailand), nice block - about nine years old, great central location, terrific pool and right on a nice section of the beach.
John was a perfect host - prompt, efficient and obliging.
A small problem with the hot water system unit in one of the bathrooms was attended to very promptly by John's local agent.
All in all, we were extremely pleased with our choice.
P.S. A wifi card has to be purchased from the reception office of the condo complex. It costs three hundred and fifty baht for a week and six hundred and fifty for a month, which is quite reasonable. Unfortunately, one card only works on one device unless you log out of the account and log back in again on the new device.
Water and electricity are charged separately by the complex management. Water costs were next to nothing, electricity (for the air conditioning, lights and hot water) amounted to just under three hundred baht per day.
The apartment: exceedingly clean, very tastefully decorated, very comfortable.
The location: steps to the beach--and from the beach, just a couple minutes walk to some great beach restaurants open during the day; on the city side of the complex, it's a bit longer walk to things, but adequate. And easy to get tuk-tuks.
Check-in: The most awkward check-in I've ever experienced with Airbnb. I've stayed at many, but this was the most unusual. I suppose that is a result of the arrangement of the condo, having to coordinate between the owner, the management company, and the condo complex management. We checked in on a Sunday but were told we had to pay a fee for non-office hours check-in (turns out this is written in the description of the condo on airbnb... it was just a bit strange). We purchased the internet cards at the front desk, and after not working for a while and walking back and forth many times between the condo and the front desk, it finally got resolved. Anyway, our check-in was a bit unpleasant overall.
Complex: The grounds were beautiful. The pool was also beautiful, though surprisingly cold. We spent most of our time on the beach instead. In terms of the complex management, communication with them was usually complicated--often involving many trips, inaccuracies, and so forth. Employees were always around, and always very nice, but again, communication was a problem.
Mid-stay cleaning: It was very nice to be able to pay the complex management a bit of extra money to clean the apartment half-way through our stay. They brought new sheets and towels.
Vår värd/agent tog emot oss när vi kom. Lägenheten såg ut precis som på bilderna. Fräscht och fint. Allt man kan behöva finns. Vi var två vuxna och tre barn och det fungerade utmärkt. Mycket trevlig personal och andra gäster. Trevlig poolområde precis vid havet. Fanns flera restauranger på stranden där vi åt god och billig mat. Läget på lägenheten är perfekt, det mesta inom gångavstånd.
Kan på alla sätt verkligen rekommendera lägenheten.

When I don't work in an office, I like travelling and do a few trips overseas trips per year. As it turns out, I tend share my time between Europe (where I was born), Asia (where my mum lives) and Australia (where I currently live) but have also spent quite time in the Americas. I used to like sightseeing, now I often enjoy the people and food more than the actual destination (the exception may be Ilha Grande, Brazil).
If I have the luxury of time I prefer not to plan my trips too much, I like to have the flexibility of going in random directions based on the people you meet. If you are good to the people you meet, fun things happen and you end up in "un-plannable" places and situations and often make some friends along the way.
I'm pretty laid back but responsible in general, the same goes for my hosting style. If you have any issues, need something out of what's advertised...just ask and we'll come up with something that works for all.
