The Space

Looking for somewhere to stay with your friends/family in the center of Barcelona?

This amazing loft sleeps up to 5 people in a location where you can walk anywhere in the center within minutes.

The apartment is divided in two floors, one ground level and one 1st floor, both connected through and open space. The ground floor has a big living room you acces from the street with a comfortable sofa bed, for two people to sleep in. There's also a dinning room with an open kitchen with all the equipment you need to cook and eat. The main bathroom is also located at the ground level, as well as a small room with the washing machine/dryer. The upper level has two bedrooms, one with a doble bed and one with a single bed both connected. There is also a small toilet in this level. It needs to be said that the second level only 1,90 m so if you are a very tall person might be uncomfortable. Of course, clean linen for all the beds is provided.

Fast Speed WI-FI connection has been recently been installed.

The apartment is filled with small details since use to be the living/working space of an artist. Like the small statues leading to the stairs or the collage made out of different tiles on the walls.

The location is only 2 minutes walk to the subway station "Sant Antoni" (L3, L2) and many local buses. Only 5 min walk leads you to Las Ramblas, the main leisure area in BCN.
The area is vibrant with many bars and cute restaurants, even though the appartment is very quiet. Supermarkets, bakery and shops are right around the corner.

You will just love it!!!

coming from/to the airport is really easy.

Get a lift from the airport directly to the apartment for only 20€ (25€ after 8pm). I provide this service with my private car or with a friend of mine when I don't have the time. It's the easiest and fastest way to get to the apartment and when you are 2 oe 3 people it's almost the same price than taking the aerobus and the metro. Ask for availability!!

The cheapest way is to take the Aerobuses that leave every 10 min (blue modern buses with AEROBUS written at the sides, costs 5,90€) that you will find in both T1 or T2 at the airport. You need to jump off the bus in Plaza Universitat (just ask the driver or check on the screen to know where to jump off the bus) and from there you only have to walk 10 min to the apartment. From the square, walk down the big street named "Ronda Sant Antoni". Take the left side of the street and after passing the Market, take the also pretty big street named "Ronda Sant Pau", keep on walking and the first street (small pedestrian street) on your left is Carrer de la Cera. Take it and walk some 200m till #12. The grey door is the loft. If you want to save some walking you can enter the subway in Plaza Universitat (L2, purple) and travel one stop to "Sant Antoni" station. That will save you more than half the way and will cost you 2€. Travel time from the airport to the apartment should be around 45min or 1 h depending how long you have to wait for the bus.

If you are several people, you might considering the possibility of taking a cab. That would drive you straight to the apartment in about 20 min and should cost beetween 37 and 40€. I remind you the address: Calle de la Cera, número 12.

NOTE: check in time 15:00, check out 12:00. Check ins after 20:00 will be charged 20€ extra in cash at arrival.

Check In
  • Communication with the host was flawless. The man who checked us in was incredibly nice, thorough, and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. The downfalls of the apartment...the neighborhood was questionable and VERY loud at night. The apartment is generally best for people who are short, very thin, and able-bodied. At 5'10'' and average weight, my head nearly hit the ceiling on the top floor and the upstairs bathroom was unusable due to the small size (even for my sister who is several inches shorter than me). The bathroom pipes had an intermittent pungent stench.

  • Appartement agréable, dans le centre de Barcelone. Propriétaire accueillant et à l écoute de des locataires.

  • We arrived a little early & Albert had arranged for another friend to greet & set us up at the loft. It was on the ground floor, small but adequate. Albert quickly attended any difficulties we encountered with our stay & was helpful with information. The area itself is near Las Ramblas in what is obviously an Indian, Islamic area so we got to enjoy great multicultural foods as well as tapas. We were also far enough away from Las Ramblas to not be crowded out all the time. We were also close enough to be able to walk to the areas we wanted to see. There is only one window in the loft & glass tiled part at the entrance & can be dark but we were out most of the time so it was no big deal. The air conditioning works really well as did the washing machine. For a couple used to a large home & privacy this was adequate, with more it would have been a little too close for comfort for us. It can be a little noisy but settles out in the street by midnight, plus we were tired enough not to really notice.

  • Great loft! Albert @ Malin are great host and ensured all needs were met. The loft is in a great location and is very close to great restaurants and bars. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Barcelona.

  • We enjoyed our stay in the loft, right downtown Barcelona. Very convenient, comfortable but a bit noisy due to location. The lofty open space works great if you don't mind not having doors between bedrooms. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Overall a positive experience.

  • We loved staying in Malin's place! The location was killer and the apartment was just what we expected from the pictures and better. Perhaps the best part was how friendly and accommodating Malin was, and the careful thought that was put into our guest welcome packet. Malin recommended several great restaurants, which we absolutely loved. Thank you so much!

  • Great Location, Very Centric and ideal to visit the city.
Only one point, the loft is a bit noisy, but mainly during the night due to the location very centric.
The apartment was clean and Albert & Malin are great host.

Jederzeit wieder.

Cosy nice apartment in the centre of Raval. Very friendly and helpful contact. The apartment is on the ground-floor and if you want to sleep in silence, you need earplugs. But for me was it no problem. A good place to explore Barcelona. and next to everything you need.

  • Everything was perfect.
The location is great, only a few minutes to Ramblas.
Many Restaurants and Bars only a few corners away.
The appartment was very clean and nice. All what you need is in there.
Also Albert and Malin are very nice and helpful.
I would choose the appartment again if I go to Barcelona.

Hola! Malin and I met in Stockholm more than 10 years ago and we have been friends ever since. Now we both live in BCN and together with Immanuel (Malin's husband) we offer 7 very centric nice apartments in BCN city center at a very affordable price. We love to travel and we use Airbnb most of the times when we do. That's the reason we really make an effort to make sure you are having a comfortable, enjoyable stay in our apartments and in this vibrant city that has so much to offer. Starting by picking you up with our private car at the airport, to writting a little personalized mini-guide for each of the apartments with recomendations of where to eat or where to go, to anything you might need and we can help you with. I, personally, am the kind of person who likes to chat and be with friends. I shared appartment with many people since I left home to go to London and Stockholm, to study and work. I think that sharing your space is a very enrichment experience where you get to know other people, other way to look at things. You allways get to learn something new. Like food; now some of my favourite things are "köttbullar" (swedish meatballs) or Marmite on toast with butter. You can see it in my lisitings, there is one room in the big apartment I live in BCN with 2 other friends that is available for short stays. Malin, also loves socializing with people and has two other bedrooms available for you in her own home where she lives with her husband and her little baby girl. I long to meet you and advise you about how to make the best of my beautiful city, Barcelona, that will make you fall in love with it's arquitechture, night live and so much more. Malin and myself will do all we can for you to have a wonderful stay in our apartments. See you soon! Albert and Malin
