Great bnb. Very clean and the young woman who helped my was kind hospitable. Great access to the busses and airport, and detailed information is provided to help you get to Venice if that's where you're going. Would stay again for sure.
Hôtel propre et bien tenue par des personnes acceuillantes. Bon rapport qualitė prix. Situė a cote d'un arret de bus, vous allez directement à Venise. Je recommande pour les petits budgets.
1. It is not ' the near historical center of Venice'. IT WAS TAKING ME 40- 60 MIN to get this hotel by a bus from P.l Roma.
2. The picture of the room is not the same to the reality. My room was much smaller with WC outside the room.
3. Check out is at 10 a.m. It is not possible to leave the baggage in the hotel after.
4. Check in will be difficult if you dont have a local Italian sim card. You have to call by phone to the owner when you are standing with your baggage near his gates.
We are a little sad about the fact that Mary had this "a little negative" feeling of our bed and breakfast, in fact some of his statements are a little strange.
We try to explain also inviting to read positive comments from other guests that confirm what we are going to write.
Well, first of all, just look at the map on the page in our AirBnB to understand that we are in the city of Venice, in the area of Venice Mainland, in the district of Venice-Favaro. Anyone who wants can go and check in Wikipedia and search for "City of Venice" or "Municipality of Venice".
Second, when we offered a willingness to Mary we have stated that the bath room available at that time was "private" and not "ensuite" was that outside the room. We do not understand why make a bad review when between one offered and found that there is no difference. There also seems to sleep in September in Venice (very high tourist season), in a room with private bathroom, with double bed, breakfast included with garden and parking available at a cost of Euro 35,00 per night is not such a terrible thing : - ) !
Third, we have always stated that the time of our check out is between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, we wrote in our web pages, we tell voice to our guests upon check-in. We are a small B&B in a private home, not a hotel. As for the luggage, we have no problem to keep it from us even after check-out. However, we recommend our guests to take him to the luggage storage in the terminal of Piazzale Roma or at the railway station of Venice-Santa Lucia in order to have him available for the start, without having to come back to us. This is advice that is usually greatly appreciated. This time obviously no ...
Fourth, to check in with us just ring the bell on the door, you do not need to call ! We put a sign with our mobile phone number as more opportunities, assuming that the bell does not work or it happens that we do not feel it. Just ring the bell and we respond "Buongiorno, benvenuti nel nostro B&B!" It really seems something so negative ? Mah ...
The room was exactly as described and was in a quiet neighborhood. A billing problem was resolved to my satisfaction. The location was a bit farther than I expected from the city, although the bus stop for several lines was just outside the door.
Thanks Emilie, it was a pleasure to host you! I take this opportunity to remind you that the metropolitan area of Venice will be served shortly by a new line of Electric trams that will ensure a great metropolitan transport service eco-compatible between the various parts of the city. Hello!
First at all, you get a clean room with a comfortable matrress and fast wlan-connection for a reasonable price (incl. room service). I experienced Gianni as friendly, helpful and polite. The bus connection to Old Venice is right in front of the door. So you can just leave your car secure behind a big green gate.
Although, the reason I usually choose B n`Bs instead of hotel rooms is because of a personal touch. - Al Giardino B `n B in my perspective lacks for this familiar atmosphere. It is sterile and anonymous and feels more like a hotel. The breakfast unfortuntately includes nothing fresh, just packed foods.
This place was very nice and exactly as described. Only 10-15 mins by one of three busses that stop right outside the front door. Staff where very helpful and sincere and the place was very clean. I would recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Venice.
Overall experience was really nice. It is indeed a good price/quality combination: clean bedroom and bathroom, decent breakfast, air conditioning, and all for 35 euro per night. For Venice it's incredible.
But as others have noted, the time from hostel to Venice is more like 35 minutes, not 15 (same goes for Mestre station).
Also bear in mind that the stops in Italy are not announced and locals rarely speak English, so make sure you communicate the name of the bus stop to the driver (a few times, preferably).
Hosts are also very friendly, but don't speak English, so be prepared to communicate with gestures.
I'd still highly recommend this place though, because the disadvantages are rather minor, and overall the b&b is of a very good quality!
We had a great stay at the B&B. the room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was good and coming and going was easy enough! Definitely value for money!
