The view at night is excellent and is especially good when there are fireworks on the harbour over New Years Eve.

This unit is ideal if you are travelling as a family or group of people offering the large layout of a 3 bedroom unit.

The building is a security building with a deadlock on the door.

During your stay you can enjoy all the of sights of central Sydney on your doorstep and come home to a great view and relaxing apartment.

The unit is very centrally located. Within 100m you are on Victoria St with great restaurants and bars in every direction. Some of the best restaurants in Sydney are only just up the road and if you do stay in our unit we will give you an information sheet about which ones we personally recommend.

The city is only 1km away which is either an easy walk or train ride.

The train station is only 200m away from the unit.

The unit is professionally cleaned before each guest with all sheets and towels washed, bathrooms, floors and kitchens cleaned.

On the day which you are moving out we are usually happy for you to have a late check out provided there is not a guest coming in that evening. We are also usually able to accomodate early arrivals provided the unit has been free the night before.

If you are staying for more than 2 weeks please let me know and I will give you a discounted rate for the period.

  • Beautiful and well appointed apartment located in a great area. We were close to everything and had a great view of the New Years Eve fireworks. It would have been nice to have access to the internet as it was inconvenient to pack up to find a wifi location to catch up on email. It also would have been nice to have a BBQ.
    Otherwise it was a great place and it was really nice that you met us when we got there Dan.

  • Dan's apartment was spacious, clean, and with a great view of the city. Communication was a charme, so was Dan's flexibility in arranging a time to exchange keys. If the apartment would have Internet, that would have made it even better.

  • Great apartment -was exactly what we needed. Wasn't 5 star clean, but that was fine as we weren't exactly paying hotel rates! View was amazing and location excellent. Thanks for a brilliant holiday in Sydney!

  • Amazing location, a couple minutes walk from Kings Cross Station (wouldn't recommend driving late at night over the wkend, traffic crawls) - 15-20min walk to Pitt St and Oxford St which was perfect for shopping/drinks etc. Great views of the city lots of windows, can see the harbour bridge, opera house and centre point tower. I wish we hadn't made so many plans so we could have stayed in to enjoy the place and it's 2 huge balconys. Variety of books and DVDs to keep you entertained in the apartment. More than I could have hoped for convenience wise. Nice kitchen to cook for ourselves, and 2 bathrooms with separate 2nd toilet. Clean and comfortable, all questions were replied to quickly. No complaints. My friends were all impressed and we'd love to stay again.

  • Our recent visit to Sydney was part work, part holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Dan's apartment. We had a great view of downtown and the apartment is very centrally located. The four of us found the apartment to be extremely comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is the fact that there's no wi-fi in the unit. But there are plenty of cafes within a short walk where my co-workers were able to get their work done. Dan was great at communicating and answering all of my questions. I would highly recommend this apartment.

  • Spent a long weekend here to celebrate my Sisters Birthday. So several adults and several children all had plenty of room to spread out. Some great books on the shelves and some good DVD's to view. The Stunning view across the rooftops toward the Opera House and Bridge is just sensational. No mistaking which City you are in. Kings Cross is the perfect base from which explore Sydney.

  • Very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in the entire apartment. Has not had a good clean in years judging by dust and general dirtiness throughout. Sheets in main bedroom had several tears and sheets in one of the other bedrooms covered in lint. Bathroom toilets and showers very dirty and in fact we cleaned before using! Only one very uncomfortable couch in main living area, which inconvenient when 6 people staying. We were very disappointed.

    Beautiful views of Sydney and harbour. Apt needs a thorough tidy up and "spring clean".

  • The apartment is great and just as described. Dan provides an extensive set of instructions for use of the apartment and personnel reviews of many of the restaurants, cafes and take aways in the area. His was also available by e-mail to answer any of the questions we had during our stay, All in all a great host.
    To help with your holiday it is worth noting that while the loacation is relatively quiet and quite central it is about 4km from circular quay, the main ferry terminal. However most of this is through the lovely botanic gardens. The local train station is very close and easy to use but the closest stop (Martin Place) to circular quay is 1Km away. Buses go direct to the quay from very near the apartment but we didn't try them. If you wish to use a car, I believe Dan can arrange a parking spot. One other point to note is that the apartment is among a maze of one way streets and our taxi driver had some trouble finding it. If this happens to you then I suggest you get them to drop you off at the Holiday Inn, Potts Point on Victoria Street. It's an easy 200m walk to the aprtment from there.

  • Great apartment - plenty of room and choice of two lovely balconies to sit out on. Very easy to get to and from city, either walking or by train (station just around the corner). Lots of good local cafes/restaurants too. Miss Chu's Vietnamese takeaway an absolute must - fabulous food and funky beats while you wait!
