A modern studio flat in the heart of Wanchai, adjacent to the Southorn Playground. It only takes you few minute walk to :
2 minutes to MTR
5 minutes to Convection & Exhibition Centre
2 minutes to the bar area
5 mins to Admiralty & Pacific Place,Central

This exclusive flat is one of the best in my collection, with a private roof top garden & a big bacony amounting to 600 sq, feet, you can sit down, relax and watch the city view of Hong Kong while enjoying your drinks after a busy day of sightseeing or shopping.
Located In the city but surprisingly quite. Nearby have tons of restaurants and bars at all price level, including the Pawn Shop Restaurant (an historic building), You can reach all the prestige commercial buildings & shopping mall, say: The Central plaza, the Convention & Exhibition Centre, Pacific Place, Admiralty, Hopewell Centre, Time square, Sogo etc in 5-10 minutes on foot.
The Fraser suite and V apartment are all nearby but are charging you 5 times the price.
If you don't like walking, right outside the building has plenty of buses or tram to go Causeway Bay, Central, IFC, and Lan Kwai Fong and if by taxi ,which only cost you around.( US$ 4)
The apartment contains a king size bed with super comfort mattress.
A fully equipped kitchen, contains induction cooker, microwave oven and refrigeater.
Free wifi and washing machine which you can hand clothes to dry under the sun.
The living room has a big L shape sofa , TV and DVD.
Perfect for couple or with one kid.
You cannot miss this apartment, It is super comfortable, convenient and has been a long term favour to many commercial travellers or sightseeing guests.
Fantastic location in the heart of Wan Chai. A few minutes walk from everything you could possibly want (Metro station), shopping, eating etc. We walked pretty much everywhere from here and its really handy as you can even get the ferry back directly to Wan Chai from Kowloon. Apartment itself is on the top floor of the block, its small but does have everything you could want. We didnt use the kitchen, but it was handy to have glassware for drinks etc. There is a large fridge which was also really handy. Bathroom is again small but clean with a powerful shower. The other great thing about the apartment is the balcony at the front which overlooks the street. Great to get a sense of a brids eye view of the area and to see a bit of the sky! There is also a really nice terrace area but it is shaded by lots of tall buildings... so we used this less. The proximity to the street does mean there is quite a lot of noise at night with traffic sounds. ALso the building work close by means a lot of banginging from 8am. Bring earplugs and an eye mask. None of this is Alice's fault... and would be the same anywhere in HK Iimagine. It was quite cold when we were visiting but there is fan heater in the flat which helps.
Nice location, cozy and clean apartment, and most importantly, although I haven't met the host, but I have to say nice host! :)
We stayed for 3 nights at Alice's nice apartment. Though we have never met in person, Alice is very warm, friendly and super easy to communicate with. The location of the apartment is very convenient to CBD and main shopping area on the HK Island. Would love to try out Alice's other apartments next time to Hong Kong!
Nice location, had some probs, but all solved by Stanley. A great guy.
Alice was great dealing with during the reservation and messaging process. She responded quickly and thoroughly. My boyfriend and I were staying in HKG over New Year's so we contacted Alice six months prior. I was a little afraid that Alice would flake-out when we got closer to the date but that concern was completely unfounded!
Closer to our date of travel we emailed Alice with our flight details, and again she was very prompt and responsive - what you hope for in a Host.
Alice messaged me upon arrival and we met her husband whom was cleaning the apartment when we arrived. Flat was sufficiently clean but not "sparkling." If it were cleaner I would give the flat another star.
Everything was in good working order and the location is great - the location and convenience with the MTR really made the experience.
Our issues with the flat were that at night it was cold. Very cold. The terraces were great. As non-smokers, we appreciated that there was no smoking in the flat and the terraces were maintained well. In fact, there are two - one in the front and one in the back.
However, due to so much open space it did get very cold at night and there was no heat (two air conditioners but no heater). We needed two blankets and pajamas and socks and we were still cold. I know that HKG was going through a cold spell but it was crazy uncomfortable. The flat would be AMAZING during the spring or warmer months b/c the outdoor space was fab and I would not (email hidden)-booking Alice's apartment then.
The water heater for the shower was also not great. I disagree with Neil b/c the water heated in 15 minutes or less but you had to be strategic with the water and use only the hand nozzle turning the water off while soaping (which was not super pleasant, but surmountable) or else the water would go ice cold.
Again, during the warm months this would be an amazing place but I would not come back in the winter. One star lost for the coldness (water and night air).
First the good points: Location was good, as others pointed out. Somewhat private as there is no apartment above and below you . Close to MTR and buss terminals. Some good restaurants in area. OK size for Hong Kong. Higher floor and not as noisy. Stanley, Alice's husband is a very nice guy! Internet is OK with medium speed.
Now the bad points: No meet and greet from Alice. No one at the apartment when we arrived. She checked us in via the telephone (after I called her). We did however meet her husband as I called him to try to solve the hot water issue. He is very friendly but could not solve the issue and did offer us another apartment which we declined. Apartment is somewhat run down and not very comfortable. Hot water only allow for a 2.5 min shower (I timed it myself). You need to allow about 30 min for the boiler to re heat. Aircon does not provide heat, only cool? So be prepared to have cold nights with extra blankets (this could be broken but I never mentioned it to Stanley). Doors and windows are not sealed and allows cold wind to enter the apartment (it even makes noise on windy days). Only 2 English channels of which both are bad! Very small kitchen, NOT for cooking. Bathroom is small and with no full body mirror. No power point for electric shaver. Balcony is much to be desired for and run down. Loose wood floor panels and storage for broken glass and broken pots. It's shared with the apartment next to you so not as private as mentioned. The laundry area is more of a storage area but it's functional. If you have a noisy tenant next to you, be prepared to join their conversations as the walls are NOT sound proof. You will have some "pump type" noises during the night as it's a very old building, typical of HK, Wan Chai area.
We shortened our stay here from 3 weeks to 9 nights and checked into a hotel.
All and all this apartment was not for us and could not fill our basic needs. Perhaps we were not the suitable guests for this apartment. Maybe it's more geared for younger, single first time visitors.
Hi Neil, as you mentioned in our message that you know H.K.well and I have no idea when you arrive, I am passive and can only wait for your call.
It is typical for the H.K. Air-cond system providing cold air only. as it is very unusual for (website hidden) have very cold weather. As a matter of fact, Dec 13 was the coolest Dec for the past 20 years in H.K.
Kitchen & Bathroom are not small by Hong Kong standard and not everyone like to have full body mirror in the bathroom.
All in all, I think it is inappropriate for a domestic apartment to compare with a 5 Star Hotel.
Nice place .. Bit dated .. Could do with a refresh
But location superb ..
Value for money
Alice was lovely and easygoing. The apartment was comfortable, not too small, and clean. The rooftop area was also nice. It was in a great location and easy to get to. If we come back to Hong Kong we would definitely stay here again.
We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful cozy space on our recent trip to Hong Kong. The apartment was perfect for our needs, very clean, central and the large balcony had a lovely city view of Hong Kong skyscrapers!
Some things to keep in mind: that the apartment is on the small side but that is pretty typical in Hong Kong. It is also at the penthouse level but comes with two shared rooftop patio spaces.
In terms of helping us settle in, Alice was incredibly responsive and provided us with details before we even arrived in Hong Kong! I would highly recommend this apartment for a stay, thanks to the central location, the cozy interiors and the great balcony views!
Had 5 nights at this flat. Very clean and tidy and the bed was big and comfortable it has two nice big balconies and is very central to everything owners were lovely to deal with and very helpful would definitely stay there again Thankyou Sue Adams
