Enjoy the colorful birds and crazy antics of our dogs, cats and ducks.
Our coffee Farm quietly produces some of the finest kona coffee in the kona coffee belt region with nearly 100 year old Kona Arabica trees producing smooth, powerful, and delicious brew.

Communal outdoor kitchen with BBQ with side burner, microwave, mini fridge (shared with guests in our other room), sink with drinkable water, plates, cups, flatware, cooking utensils and pots n pans. Trails through farm/property and communal garden and seating area. Feel free to walk the farm and enjoy the sunsets under the mango tree. There are plenty of papaya, avocado, mango, pineapple, mountain-apple, tahitian lime, guava, citrus, several varieties of bannanas and even a few tomato trees.
Early mornings at breakfast or evenings are best times to talk story with hosts, farm workers and other guests. As this is a working farm, we get busy with farm work or running errands for farm, so do our best to be available as time permits.
We are right off the highway in Captain Cook in the Kona Coffee Belt with nearby eateries and grocery store. We have beautiful views of the coastline and sunset from the farm. The famed City of Refuge/Honaunau National Park and Two Step (famous snorkeling spot) are just 10 minute drive. Be Sure to check out our local recommendations posted in outdoor kitchen.
There is a public bus, but only runs near the farm in the early morning. Buses run periodically throughout the day from bus stop across from Manago Hotel which is 2 miles away. We recommend a rental car when staying at our farm, as we provide parking for your vehicle.
This is a working farm first. so lights out and quiet time from 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. Our workers sometimes get started at 7am with a fair amount of noise. And during harvest season, several pickers congregate as early as 7am. So, our place is more suited to early risers, which is our typical guest. If you are a late sleeper and disturbed by early morning noise, this may not be the best place for you. Guests are welcome to come and go as they please. We just ask everyone to be respectful of others on the farm during quiet time.
We require a 2 night minimum. Best time to check in is in the afternoon before it gets dark. night time arrjvals are difficult due to no street light in this area so most landmarks are not visible, so guests have a harc yime fibding the farm. If yoh must checkin after dark, we require communication and arrangements with us. The latest check in allowed is 10pm - early to bed and early to rise.
Quiet time/lights out 10 pm - 6 am.
clean up after yourself in communal areas
One parking space provided for each room.

Bebo was very welcoming and I felt comfortable there. Bedroom is exactly as pictured. Bathroom is in rather poor condition, hence the lack of photos depicting the bathroom situation.
Bebo and Karen were wonderful hosts. The fresh fruit, pumpkin bread and coffee was amazing. The snorkeling and hikes near by filled up our days and we always looked forward to relaxing at the coffee farm. We would stay here again.
Bebo and Karen were gracious hosts and welcomed us to their family. The charming little coffee shack is exactly as advertised and we enjoyed the complimentary farm fresh fruit, coffee, and bread daily. The location is perfect for exploring the Kona area while avoiding the hustle and bustle of downtown.
Bebo and Karen were great hosts. We felt very welcome. The morning coffee and the selfmade pumpking bread were excellent. The vegetation on the farm is incredible. Lots of fresh tropical fruit. Shower and bathroom is simple but worked out fine for us. We can definately recommend Bebos coffee farm and would love to stay there again. Great cat and dog on the farm, too :-)
I visited Hawaii to look at several small farm properties. I am incredibly grateful for Bebo and Karen's invaluable insight, tips, and warnings!
They were generally very laidback and also helpful with suggestions of beautiful sights to see. The location is really central to several local hotspots like the monument, Manini Beach, and Two Step snorkeling (all within a 15 minute drive with plenty of great eateries along the way). I was warned of difficulty in finding the farm at night, but it is right off the highway with a sign and blinky Christmas lights so I did not have any trouble with this aspect.
Staying on this farm was amazing. They kindly upgraded my room free of additional charge and it was very spacious, breezy, and clean. Farm operations could be heard in the mornings but were not terribly loud. I easily dozed off again. All farm workers and animals were very welcoming and friendly (I miss you Possy!). I felt that I could move about independently, but was also included in family card games.
Nothing like a great ocean view to compliment fresh papayas and pumpkin bread breakfasts. And of course, their award winning Kona coffee was phenomenal. Can't wait to break open my bag once I get home.
The ducks were close to hatching their eggs while I was there, so if you're thinking of booking, you may see new duckling friends!
Our stay with Bebo and Karen was perfect. Their place is great for the low maintenance traveler. We loved the privacy of our room, a warm shower, and community breakfast. Bebo and Karen gave us valuable recommendations of nearby places to hike, snorkel, and eat.
Bebo and Karen were wonderful hosts. We stayed there for our first two nights on the Big Island and might even return before we leave, we enjoyed ourselves so much. It's simple and clean and perfect for a low maintenance traveler. The common area was really nice for relaxing and cooking. great coffee too!
