  • There's a homey feel in Ultari House. No check in counters or anything that would make you think it was a commercial establishment. When you come in, you re greeted by the living room. Sometimes it can be messy because of the other guests but it has its charm and you get used to it; it is not the fault of Allen and K.

Having said that, I loved coming back home to Ultari house when I was in Seoul. On the flipside the living room played host to where I met interesting people too at night when we would come back home from our trips and just hang out with them. K was very friendly and a cool guy to hang out with and he even showed me a place where I could get really delicious mandu (Korean dimsum). The bathrooms were surprisingly clean every time I used them if you consider that it is shared among other guests in the house. When we needed mobile data to go around Seoul, K and Allen lent us their wifi egg for a small fee.

I would definitely stay here again in Ultari house when I go back to Seoul.

  • My stay with Ultari House and the Ultari family was an unforgettable one! K and Allen are like your very own Korean brothers :) I couldn't help but notice all the random acts of kindness they give to their guests, such as ordering food for them when they're sick, giving a handy bus tip as you leave the house and even keeping a stock of heat packs for those cold cold nights. The guesthouse is well kept and homely, allowing for privacy when you want it, as well as a common living room for when you want to meet the other guests and hang out. I'm definitely a big fan of Ultari and recommend it to all types of travellers :) See you soon K and Allen!

  • Was a unique experience for me. If u travel alone without much plans Korea offers you quite much. I met lovely people from all over the world in Ultari with and know now, that Koreans have wonderful heated floors, a crazy pop culture and a vibrant nightlife in Hongdae, not far from guesthouse 2. All that with a lovely atmosphere and helpful hosts K. and Allan. Ask about trips to the DMZ or other great locations, they want you to enjoy Korea (so that you want to come again). You can explore a lot by yourself and come home to a warm place with Snacks and WiFi. Share your daily experience with other guests in the living room while watching the newest K-Drama. <3

  • I only stayed a few days at K's and Allen's guest house, but it was a really nice experience! The hosts are both very friendly and talkative and people staying there can enjoy a stay that feels like being at a friends' house. I had a lot of fun there and would stay there again anytime!

  • By far, the best place I stayed at in the duration of my 1 month trip. Superb hosts and a magnitude of friendly and awesome guests from around the world. This is the perfect place to meet new people, have new experiences and create unforgettable memories. And if you don't know what to or where to go, Allen and K are more than happy to help out or even take you out on one of their many tours. Will definitely be back again! 오빠들 최고!!!

  • Ultari House #2 is really a nice and afforable place to stay in when you're in Seoul. I had a great time living there for 5 days. The facilities were great, and the rooms were really cozy. Allen and K were such great host. They gave lots of tips on places to visit in Seoul.

I would definitely visit Korea again and i'm pretty sure ill be staying here the next time I come to visit:D
    Thanks guys!

  • Ultari house is a great place! My friend and i had so much fun there for 5 nights!
You may find all necessary stuff you need at "home" in this house(at least all i need, i may find). There are convenience store and 24hours restaueant nearby. We were glad to meet K and Allen, our two friendly hosts. They brought us to eat something good. In Ultari, we met new friends and knew korean local culture (especially drinking and food).
I have already missed the house and samgyupsal already, hope i may come again soon;D
Once again, thanks K and Allen!

  • Both hosts, Allen and Kay were very friendly and helpful. Don't be fooled by the affordable price thinking you would be lacking in facilities and amenities. The house is very cozy and has all the necessary things you would need to make your stay comfortable. It felt like a home there. Appreciate Kay's effort to voluntarily drive us to subway at 5 in the morning, disrupting his sleep time. Overall, it was nothing short of a pleasant stay at Ultari House 2. :)

  • Ultari House #2 is very cozy and it feels like home. Allen and K are very friendly and hospitable, probably the best the I have met so far. Despite their busy schedule, they still concern about our stay in the guesthouse. Besides, it's not difficult to locate the guesthouse as detailed itinerary is provided. In short, it's a place highly recommended to stay!
