I really love the house. It‘s very clean and very cosy. Although it's very cold outside, but the house is very warm. there are all the things you need when you are travelling so it's very convenient. I hope to live there next time when I go to Seoul.
The location is about 10 minutes'walk from the subway station exit. It's really hard to find the way back home in the nights I think unless you become familiar of the route, because there are a lot of alleys in this area. During our stay, we shared the house with 12 other people. We just stayed there for 2 nights and even still didn't how to use the television remote. I think that it will be more suitable for the guys who stay in Seoul for a long time. The house is lively but not quiet enough. And the personal space is limited (the picture offered is not so crowded as we saw).To be frank, I would like to say that we prefer the other homestay we chose in Seoul.
I spent 4 days in a private room at Ultari House 2 upon recommendation from a friend.
I had an enjoyable stay at the guesthouse and found that the common area was a really great space for meeting and getting to know the other fellow travellers who were at Ultari.
Both Allen and K were very hospitable and were always ready to answer questions or help us get to the places we needed to be e.g. to the station on my way out of Seoul. Bee who was helping out at Ultari 2 was also really welcoming and approachable and one of my favourite people to have met in Seoul.
Overall, I think if you're looking for a cozy and friendly stay in Seoul that is close to the university area (Hongdae) - Ultari House 2 is a great place for it!
Warm and friendly atmosphere! The house is well kept and located in a peaceful area. Allen, the host, is very thoughtful and will do his best to fulfill your requests. I would've liked to have stayed longer. I'll be sure to visit again next time.
