    Response from Peter:

Thanks McLean it was a pleasure hosting for you. Just to clarify The Sun Room 1 is in the Center of Hipsters, but due to the blizzards McClean needed to fly in the next day and I housed him at my other place nearby which is not hipster but nearby and very nice. this is the link to the place he is referring to.

  • Simply perfect! Peter's appartment fulfilled our needs totally. I would definitely go there again. Thanks, Peter! We appreciate!!

    Response from Peter:

My absolute pleasure!!! You guys were wonderful!!

  • Nice spot convenient to a lot of great areas -- the city is one train stop away, and Williamsburg is your oyster. Peter keeps a great place and is a gracious host.

    Response from Peter:

Thanks Lloyd it was really nice meeting you!!

  • We had a really nice experience at this apartment! Peter was a great host- always available to answer questions and point us in the right direction, or even just recommend a nice bar or restaurant. The room was warm and cozy, and big enough for all of our stuff.

A thing that bothered us a little was the fact that the room didn't have a lock on it. I trusted Peter and the other guests, but was nervous leaving valuables in the room when we went out for the day. Also, the apartment was loud at times. The other guests weren't necessarily loud people, but due to the echo a quiet conversation could easily be heard across the apartment.

Overall we loved our time in New York! Thanks Peter!

Thanks Kari it was pleasure hosting for you

Hey everyone, my name is Peter Chen. I've been hosting now for a couple of years now And everyday I always strive to do my best. All the photos in my profile are a mix of great airbnb guests, my family, and friends. Im originally from CA, but have been a resident of NY now since 2004. I moved to Williamsburg recently in 2011 and I have to admit I dont know what took me so long to move here, it really is an awesome neighborhood. Its really brought peace in what I now truly feel is home. Something interesting about myself, I do own an apt in Williamsburg and i'm very proud of my first purchase. Before settling down, I was a nomadic traveler, living right out of a large suitcase. I've travelled to London, Paris, Milan multiple times as well as Pescara, Taipei, Honolulu, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and now that I've settled, NYC is where I hang my Hat as home. I'm a big foodie and love going out to eat and drink at all the restaurants, cafes, lounges, and bars. i love the outdoors and love shopping at the local spots for food, gadgets, clothes, etc. I do not speak Spanish or French but my best friend speaks fluent French and Spanish and loves meeting new people as well. On nice days, I like going out riding my bike, walking around, and laying out in the parks. Also love lounging out on the balcony reading, and playing games. And on days a little rainy I usually order stuff on apple tv or watch netflix. Through Hosting, I've met lots of really cool people from all around the world, each with a story to tell. I always look forward in connecting with new people. Check in with me as a guest, but we'll always part with a new friendship.
