Durmus was a fantastic host from the off. He waited up for our airport transport to arrive at the B&B (after 11pm) and still prepared us food that evening.
Having back-packed for over 18 months I can say that Durmus is the best host I have ever come across. The organic food cooked by his Mother is reasonably priced, varied and is without a doubt the best food in Cirali.
The accommodation is appropriate for the surroundings, includes Aircon and ensuite bathrooms. Rooms are clean and a laundry / cleaning service is offered throughout your stay.
The B&B place of Durmus and his family is absolutely fantastic! It is located in the wonderful area of Cirali, there you have nice landscape with mountains to go hiking and the beautiful sea to go swimming and also ancient places to visit...
The Bungalows are very nice and very clean, you'll feel very comfortable there! The most amazing thing about Durmus place is the food though, I highly recommend to also have dinner at the place!!! His Mother just makes delicious turkish food, I loved it! :) Also the breakfast was very delicious! Great place to stay!!!
Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Durmus was an excellent host and we felt warmly welcomed. He helped us arrange a private transfer to the pension, as we arrived in Antalya at 6:40pm which didn't leave us enough time to catch the last shuttle. The food was excellent and Durmus was very careful with my allergy. Would not hesitate to visit again.
Wow. First of all, Durmus is an amazing human being. Throughout our stay he was incredibly kind and helpful, but he went above and beyond when my girlfriend and I were on a bus half way to antalya to catch a flight and he discovered we had forgotten our passports. He sent me a very reasurring message that he would meet us at the terminal, and sure enough he made it there in great time. He went way out of his way to save our trip and we are incredibly grateful.
Beyound Durmus being a fantastic host, the property itself is just so cozy and nice. We felt so relaxed and at home. There are bikes you can use, which turned out to be a great way to get around cirali. The best part about our stay was definitely the amazing dinners provided for just 9 lira per person. Both nights we ate there, we feasted like kings on some of the best turkish food we've had on our trip. This place is something special.
Don't know whether it was the vicinity to the sea, the fresh air, the relaxed atmosphere, the abundant and good food or the comfy bed, but I hadn't slept this well for years. However, it is also a great location if you want to do more than just sleeping: it's on the Lycian Way (great for hiking), a short, easy bike ride to the base of Mount Chimaera/Yanartaş, and the archaeological site of Olympos is just a stroll down the beach. And, of course, there's the beach. The bungalows are simple, but comfy, and very clean; the breakfast fantastic. Durmus is lovely, and so is the rest of the family I met. I was hoping his mother would adopt me and I could stay with the chicken forever, but somehow that didn't work out and I returned home with a jar of homemade jam instead. And happy.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Durmus and his family. A gracious and friendly host, Durmus provided the perfect place to explore Cirali and the surrounding areas. The bungalows were clean, new and cozy; the breakfasts were beyond delicious and plentiful; and the home-cooked dinners were well-priced, fresh and local. Traveling in a group of seven we loved the free bikes, the closeness to the beach and the self-service coffee, tea and drinks. Our bungalows were also surrounded by pomegranate and orange trees providing us with fresh fruit galore. We even came to love the chickens (who acted as our early morning wake-up calls)! Thanks again to Durmus and his family, it was an absolutely wonderful few days in Turkey!
Everybody was friendly - Durmus and his family as well as the cocks and hens.
We enjoyed our stay very much!
